I really hope it sells well. The amount of effort they have put in to it is phenomenal and they deserve to be rewarded heavily (not that other developers dont)

Sony just flips the bill.

Its been along time since a game as innovating as Little Big Planet has came out. Game of the year without doubt.

I wonder if you can turn off the freeze effect. Make an ice rink. Then create hockey or table hockey game. The possibilities are endless.

I know 2 people, one 18 and one in his 30's who are buying a ps3 when LBP comes out. So its doing something. I'll be picking up the game for sure, im 18.

I'll be 20 when the game comes out. I want it. I may actually have to buy a 2nd PS3 to play it as well since I won't be at home much. That's a good start for them :)

As a hardcore gamer, I have been really looking forward to game since introduction. It's as much anticipated as Killzone 2 to me. I've been dying to get my hands on this and put my creative skills (lol) to the test. This is a first day or possibly even midnight launch pick up for me.

I know much more hardcore gamers who also want this game.

Just bought a ps3.

The deciding factor was Little Big Planet. Analysts will probably see me as a GTA buyer, but Little Big Planet made the sale.

Actually I doubt this game would sell well on the Wii at all. Even if it looks cartoony and like it's meant for children, which it definitely isn't. Children really wouldn't have the attention span to play a game like this. It is a game for people with a creative mind, and for those who will enjoy playing old style platformers. Also, third party games don't sell well on the Wii at all. Playstation 3 was the best platform for this type of game (not that they had a choice... it's published by Sony).

i cant see this selling that many consoles! creating levels will be tedious to most! still, it's a change to all the shooters that are coming to the ps3 this year.. i think the sales of this game will surprise the sony faithful.

Yes it may be focused at that audience but this game will be BIG and I can see this game sell tons of copy's. The game can be played by anyone and is more focused on all ages. If u can show me one game on the wii that is as versitile and creativity friendly for consumers to make there own levels and let other people around the world play your level design and rate it, then please show me. Heck even one of nintendo's head guys said that LBP would be more suited for the wii and he admits it looks like a great game. All of u saying this game will suck are going to be shocked with how many copies this game will sell, not only that but it has a big potential to be GOTY. FACT. :)

Well my 3 year old sister preordered the game for me with her credit card so =P

seriously= this game will rock, unlock my custom costume by completeing 5000 points on my created stage, thats amazing, i hope the allow you to have different prizes to attract people to your level...I cant wait...
