I was very skeptical of the game prior to the demo but after having played it I realize all the average/mediocre banter is pretty baseless. Here's a checklist for future negative posters to include in their posts so we at least know why they don't like Haze.

1, you don't own a PS3
2, you haven't played the demo
3, you have played the demo but you couldn't hit anything
4, you have played the demo but are bitter because it was too short for 1.5 gig
5, you just want to follow a trend and sound cool too

I myself thought it was very refreshing, hectic, didn't nanny you, overall rendering, graphic style and post processing are beautiful.

Around 15 years of FPS titles and I find Haze anything but mediocre.

3. I played the demo and aiming was TOO easy.
4. It was ~15 minutes. 15 horrible, horrible minutes,
5. It has poor graphics, boring gameplay, and VERY annoying dialogue.

5 - Can't wait!
I just can't get enough of co-op games!

I'd much rather invite some mates over to try and stop some evil robot/alien/nazi/soldier AI from taking over the world/universe than to be constantly killing each other for points all the time.

A little bit of deathmatch is fun for a while, but things can get a bit heated at times even if you're not trying to take it seriously.

I find that when everyone is directing their hatred towards the computer rather than each other it makes for a much better atmosphere. Especially when you're all in the same room (which is pretty rare nowadays, what with online and all).

Well, looks like a ps3 lan next weekend i guess :P. I hope the game is difficult enough though.

after playing the demo I really wonder why they made this piece of crap, but then maybe its just call of dutys fault for making everything else look so poor in comparison, this game has nothing on COD4 so its not worth touching. even co-op doesn't save its mediocre ass!!!

I think Haze will have the storyline that drives it. Not amazing graphics, not innovative-whatever, not the most amazing gunplay, but an interesting story. I for one am waiting for reviews and then will probably rent it :3
