"It's been awhile since I was excited for a demo. Today, the Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit was released for both the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live! Marketplace. But why be excited for a Dragon Ball game? Well, I for one was/am a Dragon Ball fan. Secondly, this is a DBZ game developed by Dimps, the talent behind DBZ: Budokai 3 and co-developer of Street Fighter 4. So, I downloaded the 478 MB demo and desperately held hope for a spiritual successor to Budokai 3 and you know what? It is."

if your talking about the new naruto game, then it cant happen, naruto looks really good because its a PS3 exclusive, its built for the PS3, the graphics were pushed to the level that the game itself looks almost like its anime counterpart. it can happen to DBZ, but not in this generation, unless it is running on hardware that can make it look like anime.

BTW, i really like the game, I just hope they dont gimp it, as in less characters or maps if you know what I mean, if they are intending to take us from the sayian to the cell saga, they should include all those characters that took part in those sagas, not to mention the places where those DBZ fights took place. i would also like to see Botakai tournaments online and offline, like the ones from the PS2 version. i hope im not being too demanding about these things.

Still prefer Budokai 3 or Tenkaichi 3... I loved being able to control powering up, but they took that control away...why? Have to buy it though...it's DBZ after all.

4 - Why make...
So many dragon ball z games, the show has been kicked and used so many times it's getting rather boring now. I can still see why people might like the game, but come on if your going to make a dragonball z games at least remake DragonBall Z legends!

yes it was Buu saga was hands down the best, more story development then any of the other sagas. Now Frieza sage was great because we got to see the first SS transformation that kicked so much a$$.

I was a DBz fan years ago, have'nt play any dragon ball games, this one is the first i play and i'm highly satisfied. The graphics are very good, the gameplay is not so hard, i did'nt have difficulties to play, which it's good.

I like the demo except the cutscenes could've been a little better. Not just the beginning and ending cutscenes, but the action cutscenes within the fight as well. It's the same sequences recycled for each character and that's just cheap. I can't believe they haven't done anything with some of the aerial animations as well. It's like they're fighting on an invisible plane instead of hovering and flying through the air (ex. look at the animation when a character is knocked down during aerial combat).

Also, I'm kinda bummed they got rid of the environmental interaction that was in previous DBZ games. It would be quite awesome to punch your opponent through a mountain or slam him into the ground creating a crater.

I hope the game has a large roster like previous DBZ, but I'm afraid this is going more in the direction of Super Dragon Ball, which wasn't very good. Also, the characters still have jaggies (minimal), which is kind of a bummer (the rest of the game looks fantastic) and a distraction during cutscenes

Definitely want to check out the full version of the game

This game is sweet, it takes away the feel of you being in a game and makes it more realistic.

No longer do I have to go into dragon rush to pull off a special attack..everything just flows. I like how they took out the need to be powering up every 2 seconds and just made your power increase as you landed hits.

The fighting is a lot smoother..you can charge your attacks to do more damage...flows a lot better..it's a lot easier to hit someone and go into a kamehameha now. It's GRREAATTT WOOOT.

This coming from a rabid budokai 3 fan :). Tenkaichi ruined it.
