I liked the gameplay, but the graphics were exceptionally unexceptional. Resistance: Fall of Man looked a lot better, with higher detail textures, higher resolution, and better anti-aliasing. I noticed very little pixelation in Resistance even on foliage, but it's all over the place in this demo.

It's probably going to be a rental, but I'm considering a purchase. There's bound to be more to the plot than just Carpenter switching sides, and I've a feeling that the voice acting and dialog in the demo was intentionally flat and uninspired. The Mantel troops aren't the good guys...They're a bunch of nectar addicts. They're not supposed to be interesting or emotionally inspiring.

After playing the demo, i had a feeling if meh... I mean come on they took an extra 6 months and yet they deliver an underwhelming singleplayer experience. I know I am judging the demo, but when the release date is just a few days ahead, I don't expect to see much of a change. The AI was ok, the graphics were not good enough, the animation was jerky and the voice acting was worse than I have seen in recent games.

4 - the game is a rental.
After playing the demo the game feels like timeshift. And yeah timeshift was the worst game i bought for the ps3. Freaking boring, give me something new like msg4 and k2. I'm not wasting another 60 bucks on just another shooter.

1: Wow you can clear the first (tutorial) level on hard without dying? Well done retard.
2: Are you reviewing the old build, or previewing the new one based on the old one?
3: Most times if you shoot someone in the head with any gun they die pretty quick, pistol or not

8 - i actually enjoyed the demo...
im getting it on tuesday just for the multiplayer...the game is not a master piece, but the gameplay is solid enough IMO...hopefully the multi-player is lag free and ill be set

I really hope that pilot scene gets cut in the final build as well as all the other unnecessary cut scenes they have in there.

I'm surprised people still think that the demo was the most recent build of the game. You can tell it's really old just from the feel you get while you're playing it.

You really hope that they cut out the cutscreens on a shooter that is going to be heavily story orientated?

I just hope that they make them better....

P.S. i liked it how just after that cutscreen you turn around and the pilot isnt there... Nectar is bliss.

I just want them to cut any other unnecessary scenes like that pilot scene. They have nothing to do with the story at all.

you do know that you can customize every controls of the game to your personal preference ?

yes you can make it play like resistance or call of duty if you want. try this . it's one of the best features of the game..
