David Jaffe lists job opening for "Really Cool" new PS3 title

"David Jaffe has posted several openings on his blog for EAT SLEEP PLAY's "really cool" PlayStation 3 game.

The positions available include Gameplay Programmer, Software Engineer and Sr. 3D modelers. If any of you wish to apply, send your resume to jobs@eatsleepplay.biz.

More importantly for us non game scripting people, this serves to reconfirm Jaffe's and EAT SLEEP PLAY's interest in the PlayStation 3. Is the unannounced title the long-rumored Twisted Metal PS3 or an entire different venture altogether? We'll find out soon."

I'd definitely be stoked for a next-gen Twisted Metal game, but I'd love to see Jaffe create a new IP even more!

Its for Twisted Metal PS3. Which was confirmed in the Twisted metal head on port to Ps2.

Yeah, I think he confirmed twisted metal for ps3 & I guess he confirmed it for 2009 release. So you can add that as another exclusive to PS3 in 2009.
Current List:
Killzone2, GT5, Final Fantasy XIII, versus XIII, White Knight Chronicles (may be this year but haven't heard of it), Twisted Metal, Getaway 3 (engine was up and running back in 2006) and Eight Days. Plus THE EXCLUSIVE GOD OF WAR3

dude, he never said TMPS3 was coming out for 2009. They just started production and you're telling me it will be out in one year? I keep up on his blog, and from the sounds of things, it sounds more like 2010.

Jaffe already said that Twisted Metal was coming to the Playstation 3 in an interview and I hope that it's that game.

David Jaffe is definanlty one of the most respected exclusive developers for Sony to me as well as Evan Wells with Naughty Dog and Ted Price with Insomniac. I consider them the Playstation's Big Three, but Kojima will always remain a Legend. Whatever Jaffe is working on it will be great and it's as simple as that.

The last GREAT Twisted Metal game that Jaffe worked on was Twisted Metal Black. I'm just so excited for E3 to come. There's just so many awesome games on the horizon for the PS3 it's just crazy.

Jaffe is the best thing Sony has going for them right now, he is the only one pumping out titles, the Japanese have lost their way, the PS3 will be dead waiting for them to produce a decent title.

MGS4 can't come soon enough for Sony, and if it were designed by Jaffe it would have been here last year to go up against H3.

That was awesome!

Insomniac has put out two MASSIVE PS3 titles since the PS3's launch...and the third is releasing this year! No developer of that size could pull off what they did.

Two AAA games in under two years...THAT'S CRAZY! Nine months of development went into R&CF:TofD...and look at that game!

Anyone miss Clover studios? Sorry...I had to say it.

Seriously though...I think Sucker Punch should be added to that list. They are Sony exclusive...and Sly 3 didn't get NEAR enough sales for how amazing it was. inFamous looks incredible too.

Jaffe already confirmed that Eat Sleep Play's next game was Twisted Metal PS3...

It's on the bonus content of the Twisted Metal: Head On (Extra Twisted Edition) for the PS2.

Trust me...it's gonna be GOOD!
