Kojima: Metal Gear Solid 4 is 'the final episode of Solid Snake'

Speaking at a crowded Konami game showcase last night, game design legend Hideo Kojima confirmed once and for all that Metal Gear Solid 4 would be the "final episode" for longtime protagonist Solid Snake.

anyway there wont be "Metal Gear SOLID 5" .. first chapter was Metal Gear : solid snake

imo next chapter will be Metal gear 5 : (put sth) ..

Exactly. We knew this for two years already. MGS4 will be the last Metal Gear for Kojima, Shinkawa, and Solid Snake.

Maybe they'll make a spinoff with Raiden that will take place after MGS4 with Raiden but with Ninja/Aerobic/Robot/Stealth/Sh ooter Gameplay. That would be badass. That is... if Raiden doesnt die.

From what I heard, Raiden redeems himself in some form.

Though I happen to have a screenshot of what appears to be Raiden without his cyborg suit, not 100% sure though.

In this shot, Naomi is talking to Snake (he's still in his sneaking suit btw).

He said it now twice. The 1st time he said it was for MGS 2 and the 2nd time was for MGS 3. I don't think he'll let this die anytime soon, but still I can't wait for his next game :D

It was foolish to think that MGS2 or 3 would be the last considering the ending to MGS2 left a lot WIDE open and MGS3 was a prequel. This game probably has a lot more closure.

thats why there is no connection between gamers and Marcus Phoenix in Gears of war ... (Gears of war : AMAZING gameplay,graphics in 2006 with poor story ... they could make it one of the best games of this gen but they didnt)

cutscenes must be in the games, (High quality in term of Story,voice acting... etc )

some LAZY devs like EPIC wont put any story in their games(for example Gears of War&Unreal tournament 3).. so u must be grateful to KOJIMA ,because he cares about SNAKE character and cares about his fans ..

but although the comment was foolish, Jamaicans aren't exactly angels. They are among the most brutally violent and politically fanatical people on this earth. Dude I know that, I live In England & am Black, When someone goes off on some stereotype BS here they rarely check to see where the person they are talking to is from first so me and my friends (Jamaicans or my fellow Ghanaians) all get lumped in together.

of one of the MGS and everyone was disappointed(I'm not a hardcore fan so forgot), even my hardcore MGS friend was rippin.

Without Snake, what's MGS?

even though this is snakes LAST EPISODE that they cant go back through the story and and fill in gaps or new missions to his story i mean comeon snake is old as hell hes only gone through like 6-7 missions (or something to that effect im not sure of the exact number) but still not too many for a long life like his
