SOCOM: Confrontation: Answers Unleashed

Ever since SOCOM: Confrontation was revealed it has been under tight wraps in every respect. Videos, screens, and specific information were and still are hard to come by as the game is still under development. For those who don't know, SOCOM is Sony's flagship shooter that single-handedly established the PS2 online. David Seymour, design director at Slant Six Games, today has finally let loose some juicy info about the game that any SOCOM fan will love to hear.

I will say the graphics were okish, but probably due to early builds, plenty of time to improve though, so, looking forward.

Approved....I didn't find the the graphics all that gratifying either....But I am dying to play this game....

Also 4 maps (minus 3 coz they are old)...seems too little...

crossroads, fishhook and nightstalker would just bring tears to my eyes if they were remade. this games gonna be sooo0 damn sexy. one of the better reasons why i love sony! besides gran turismo.

2 - nice to see
that they're throwing us a bone by including 2 more maps for the delay. I think this is a very smart move by launching with 3 old maps as it will convince other veteran socom players to make the jump to this gen. Frostfire and desert glory would be sweet if these are the 2 maps they are adding.

This game is so getting me off of COD4...I know resistance will be great, but I'm more into realistic games, like Socom and COD than Resitance, Haze or even Halo....

You cant say 4 maps because 3 are old, that doesnt really make any sense. Most socomers love the old maps and want them instead. Its 3 great maps plus 4 new maps.

5 - Socom!!!
Socom was never really great on graphics, but the gameplay totally made up for it, without the gameplay i wouldnt of stayed up till 3 am clan warrin or etc. So even if the graphics turn out to be bad.. i would still definitely get this!!
