I figured because the title said video store it wouldnt have shown mine as a duplicate. So I dont blame you at all.

They have an "other" console section on their site I believe and it was just a forum post. Don't worry it got 3 replies and people brushed it off since it's an old feature for any 360 owner.

Really though, Sony's service will put XBL Market place to shame. All XBL has is shows, PSN will have entire channels! Not to mention you can already watch youtube videos on your PS3 internet browser!

Why Microsoft thinks the live video marketplace is the end all to digital downloading is anyones guess. I tunes now has just about every major movie studio partnered with them on the Itunes store, that will dominate the digital downloading market, with Sony's PS3 video store likely to be second.
Why Apple first, the fact it runs on PC and not a gaming console and that a majority of mp3 player owners own an Ipod. Second, SPHE (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment) signed a deal with Apple to have Sony owned movies (Sony Pictures, Sony Pictures Classics, Columbia-Tristar, MGM) on Itunes (MGM is the only one on Live's market place). Why Microsoft thinks they can beat their long term rival (Apple) with their current business model is idiotic.

Sony's Playstation store, first Sony owns a lot of material; games, movies, television shows, music. Second, partnerships acquired from the Blu-ray disc association, Sony has made great connections with movie studios, especially WB, who owns a major portion of the video distribution market. Third, Microsoft owns NO content, Sony doesn't have to license their media so it may be cheaper to buy on the new store.

What Sony may hopefully do right on the new store:
-Limited DRM
-Movie Rentals and the ability to buy them (not possible on the live marketplace right now, at least with movies)
-Cheaper rates (Sony doesn't have to pay royalties on their own proprietary content)
-Music Albums not just music videos
-Ability to transfer PSN video store material to PSP for on the go viewing

IF you own a PS3 go to the PSN store.. DL the video What we need.. Pause it at 1:04 and then do a frame by frame.. You will see it.. they flash it soo fast.. Im surprised anyone caught it
