big ass changes first the color got less grayer(still pretty gray still) texture are really nicer now just look at the armore he is wearing and the face expression is like wow look like a real black guy on the screen and also look at the smoke and explosion is not there so you have to look it up

The polygon count is absolutely insane,the lighting is ridiculously realistic,and the animations are as smooth as Eggs.

If the game had just come out,the graphics would be a 10 without a doubt.

that seems to have changed since the E3 '07 demo is the blood. It seems toned down significantly. When look at the one from '07 and now... it seems less gory. I don't know if it's just the lighting or what.. but I loved the blood effects from '07... they were pretty amazing.

Massive improvement, oh and as good as the animations in HL2 are, Uncharted is way better, and KZ2 destroy them both. Really not fair comparisons.

Now about the animations, On the one hand, I do still wish we saw more animation interactions between the Sev and his comrades, but on the other, I am amazed that we are even seeing what we are, it truly is getting closer to its impossible target!!! If/ when we see the enemy AI move around as much (and in strategic manners) as the friendlies, the game will truly exceed the target IMO.

I can't really believe the footages that we've seen so far are in pre-alpha mode. We never know how much more tweaking Guerilla has to do before they feel they've released an AAA game.They have at least the rest of the year to add more eyecandies and improve single and multiplayer gameplay. After all this hype the game's getting for the last few days, at least, I'm pretty sure PS3 owners have something to get really excited about for 2009.

They still got 9 months to go. And most developers don't really start polishing graphics until the last 2-3 months of development.

I really really(20) hope that the field looks as alive as it did in the 2005 trailer, the guys bringing in a cart to shoot down a ship, the rocket launcher guy hitting the helghast with an awesome blast and the ship crashing down. Man, that would be even more phenomenal. The thing is the guys we have seen playing play so slowly it really kills the excitement.

early heavenly sword footage had wierd lighting and lacked detail until it became a ps3 exclusive.then the devs just went to town.AWSOME

motorstorm didn't look so hot initially,but it became a beast when it and its downloadable tracks released.AWSOME

uncharted looked actually good at first,but the final game had so much detail that it made the early trailers look bland.AWSOME

GTHD at first just looked good based on ps2 code.but GT5 just looks ridiculously good.too AWSOME to compare with any other car racing games.let me toss another AWSOME out there.

from mlb:08 the show,to hot shots,to folklore,to ratchet,games just look phenominal on ps3.even lair looked great.warhawk,a download looked great.

and now,we have killzone,not only silencing the naysayers,it has pushed them to take shots at A.I. because the graphics can't be bagged.sony said ps3 could produce those graphics over TIME,and that's exactly what's happening.from that first screenshot to today,the haters have nothing-to-say-at-all.and it's only going to get better in 9 months.

i'm a believer that call of duty 4 benefited from what sony showed in 2005.it's so coincidental that 2 years later from what sony showed,that cod4 looked so like the killzone target video.anyone that saw the first call of duty on 360 could see how weak it looked in the fall of 2005.there was nothing they could do because that game was already in production.

i think we can all thank sony for reaching for the stars than just going for what works.they have been pushing for NEXT GEN on everything from the CELL processor,bluray,hdmi,home,rem ote play with psp,pseye.and let's not forget,THE GAMES.

can't wait to play this game.

The characters look better but i miss the blood effects and the dark and gritty surroundings of the E3 07 conference. Now the new footage looks good and all but i miss that old dark atmosphere.

Real nice, this game is goin 2 kick ass.. 9 months is alot of time, so the game will lok and play alot better than now and believe its nothin wrong with it now, lol..
