Rumored PLAYSTATION Store New Content (US) for 5/08/08

With all of the new information from SCEE's PlayStation Day and the dual EU updates for the PLAYSTATION Store, many US PS3 gamers are wondering what exactly they can expect this week. Here is a list of what is confirmed by the developers to be arriving this week (as well as the unconfirmed content pending developer confirmation).

Update: It's not new content, but McDonald's/MTV promotion for 2 reduced-price Rock Band songs also applies to PS3. We should see "Crushcrushcrush" by Paramore and "Rock & Roll Band" by Boston at 50%off

1 - Pretty exciting week!
I think we could see some other demos roll in as well, but if this is "all" we get - I'm definitely excited about it! This may turn out to be one of the best weeks for PSN yet!

I've already paid off Haze so I'm hoping that GRID will turn out great. It looks great graphically (though not GT level) but I'll take that as long as I enjoy the gameplay.

4.1 - You can't have it all
People clamor for more content, more demos and then when they come out - a lot of the same people complain that they suck! We can't have it both ways. If we only got really good demos, we'd have an update every 2 or 3 months.

The campaign co-op is the reason I'm buying the game.
The multiplayer looks to be fun as well after the group I was with started a little deathmatch in the jungle lol.
Overall the game is fun, not outstanding, but good for what it is and what it's meant to deliver.
