I just watched it...looks just okay. But the game is only in 'pre-Alfa' so hopefully they make some BIG improvements b/c right now the game just looks like a hi-res Gamecube game (and I'm not kidding about that).

I will not say its looking great for a pre alpha, but it shows promise.
The game looks like they should have waited a couple of months before showing it off. There are so many things that aren't in the game yet on this video.

Gravity is off, Crashing is off, grown texture is completely missing.

I'm kinda disappointed. It's not bad but nowhere near as stunning as the original. Sure, it's camera and the game isn't finished but original MotorStorm looked stunning way before release but not only this lacks the wow factor, some parts actually look pretty mediocre.

Overall, graphics have decreased in my eyes... :(
As for gameplay, I don't like the new vehicle type either. Hopefully the classic cars like buggies and such are still as fun as the original.

I know the final game is gonna be better but original MotorStorm looked mind blowing months before its release and the final game was even better than that and became one of the best looking racers of all time.

The new game looks good but NOT great and that's why I feel disappointed. It lacks the "wow" factor of the original. I know it's pretty early but the original had that "wow" factor way before it's release.
Still, gameplay is all the really matters and hopefully this game is as fun and awesome as the original was.

Motorstorm 1 looked absolutely terrible with as many months to release as MS2 does now - the early videos really made my heart sink - but then they pulled it together for the finished product.

And this footage already looks better than MS1, so I'm not worrying about the graphics at all.

What the hell.. This doesn't look like Motorstorm?! What is this junk?

I'm saying this straight up, Alpha or not, these screens and video are complete junk, Motorstorm looks way better, what the hell is up with this?

I'd expect something Motorstorm-ISH built from prior alpha stages, on top of whatever is already there, this is looking pretty bad right now, I hope we get development screens sometime in the next few months that can change our mind.

Glad to know it's only 40% through.

Even Alpha stage games aren't suppose to look like it's running on the PS2.

It does look different but I like this engine better even though it's in the early stages the lighting already looks better then the first.

It's funny I was watching this while writing and I just saw the part where they were on the beach shore and yes the lighting looks really really good.
