Disagree with you 100%. Socom > MGO. But MGO is a fantastic game in itself. Its a gem for any MGS fan. It has a steep learning curve but it is very addictive. As long as the SP doesn't suffer, they should keep piling up on MGO

I can't wait for this game! SOCOM is my favorite game franchise, and it always will be!

P.S. Is it just me or does this image remind you of Fish Hook(for you SOCOM 2 players out there). http://fichas.hardgame2.net...

That or some SOCOM 1 or SOCOM 2 map, I'm also wanting to say Desert Glory but I'm sure that's not it.

8 - Do you guys think
this game will move alot of PS3?. I always looked at MGS, FF and GT as killer apps for the PS but not this game. I played Socom 2 but i didn't really enjoy it and i am surprise that it seems to have a big following. I strongly suspect that this game is huge in western countries with online and shooters being very popular. Graphics look great BTW.

While the single player was good, the online was where this game stood out, the best 3rd person shooter on the Ps2, and its still played online by large amounts of people today.

I suspect theres a large amount of Ps2 owners waiting for Socom confrontation before they pick up a Ps3

It will move PS3s for the about 15000 people still playing Socom on the PS2, but it wont make an enormous impact like MGS or FFXIII

It could only help the PS3 for the battle for NA especially. Haze, R2 and ofcourse KZ2 would help even more. As a PS fan i really do hope this game will sell lots of PS3.

I remember reading on an EGM magazine and it showed how many people still SOCOM daily. Over 300,000 people still play SOCOM on the PSP, which is incredible.

Oh dude, I just went to VGChartz. The PS3 outsold the 360 in America. Yes, it was the GTA IV release week.

as i don't have the ISP for it. Lately i have been hearing quite alot about this game and it kinda surprised me. Its becoming fairly obvious that this game is just as huge as the other big PS games like MGS
