the 1st one was good! the 2nd one will surely be AWESOME!! it's simply the most anticipated racing game this year and a must buy! I can't see PURE or BAJA which are multiplatform games have anything to stand against MOTORSTORM! exclusive for PS3 and desert racing is sooo 2007!!

Its idiots like you that make out like PS3 is supposed to be the end all and be all of consoles. To PS3 fans its just a great console that we love that can product awesome results when handled right. Is that OK with you?

Much like an F1 car, a professional with experience and knowledge can do incredible things where a rookie who didnt come up through the ranks and doesn't want to do their homework will likely just crash and burn.

Note to developers,
while devs like Evolution, Insominac and Naughty Dog were happy to do their research in the beginning, thus laying the groundwork for a generation of games, those who just wanted to jump straight in without this process, like EA and Ubisoft, released early crappy games and are forced to play catchup. At least they seem mostly to be putting in that effort now, because PS3's market is growing and Sonys devs are showing them up.
Devs who not only skipped stage 1, but are still not trying to learn anything new, will never perform well on PS3. Yeah, its PS3's loss, we'll probably miss 2 good games in 4 years, but its Valves loss too for ignoring a big portion or the market, which while not currently the biggest and may not be for a while, but will certainly be around the longest. Argue all you like but you cant deny the longevity of Playstation consoles.

The PS3 is a capable console but I think anyone is yet to see it.

Have you actually played GTA IV on both consoles? PS3 upscales the game like Halo 3 and looks smudgy at best. The 360 actually runs much smoother and with more detail.

Actually, the PS3 version is smoother and has more detail. The 360 version is sharp/good in some areas but it other areas it's oversharpened. It's better to have something smooth than to have it sharp and jaggy.

kojima is a perfectionist and every perfectionist will never satisfy with anything they had done and always think that they could've done better! kojima indeed clearly admitted that he feels dissapointed at MGS4 as he think that he could've done more on PS3! instead of 10 steps he said they may just moved only 1 step! I wonder what he will say about 360! mind you, he also clearly stated that the development tool he used to create MGS4 has already being used to the fullest on the PS3! so, it's not that he had already used the full potential of the PS3 yet! in fact, far from it!

MGS4 has been in development 2 years before the PS3 was launched and like many other early days PS3 devs, he also used old tools/engines that were used at times when no one except execs at sony knew the details of the PS3 architecture. the case was just like Resistance and Motorstom - best launch title ever! those games used old engines/tools and optimised later on for PS3 after they finished the game! look at their respective sequels! this time around, Insomniac and Revolution are clearly using different engines/tools which are already PS3-optimised thus allowing them to get better results overall!

although kojima said that he'll no longer work on a new MGS title, MGS4 will definitely not be his best or forget last! there will be the next kojima project which will be technically superior to MGS4 and guess what? it'll also be PS3 EXCLUSIVE! you heard it here 1st!
