Maybe the game froze up? I almost committed crimes when I came home with a copy of GTAIV only to remember my PS3 needs to be sent in for repair. I better get it back by next Thursday. :(

This just goes to show how desperate anti-video game groups are becoming. Nothing truly awful happened with the release of the game, so they just make something up to scare people? Like there isn't enough bad news to report on right now, let's just start creating fictional bad news. Disgraceful.

Another couple points from the article I have a problem with (if it were or is, in fact true):
1 A ten year should not be playing this game - where are his parents?
2 Why is there a loaded weapon in the house that this child could just go inside and grab?
3 In any incident of this severity (attempted GTA (ironic), shooting at police officers, a mugging, and a armed robbery of a restaurant) the child would not simply be handed back to the parents for later counseling, regardless of age. Child protective services would be all over the parents on this issue.

This report is so full of holes, it is ridiculous.

fake or real seems like ratings mean jack sh#@ to anybody anymore.

if some parent bought alcohol for a minor everyone gets a fit and blames the parents for serving alcohol to a minor.

But when a parent purchases a video game for a minor that clearly states that you must be a certain age and meet a certain requirement to play that particulur game no one seems to want to blame the parents but only the video game itself.
