Here is gameplay from the Siren PS3 demo. It's a bit dark, but it is still watchable. I did my best to make it as clear as possible. Enjoy :)

Graphics look really good faces look VERY GOOD even you must agree with that, its only a demo and you make a comment about camera control its a demo not the final game! Why dont you just stick to 360 comments as thats OBVIOUSLY your console of choice!!!!!

First of all, Uncharted isn't "photorealistic." Secondly, this gameplay video doesn't come close to Uncharted graphically. Let's be realistic here.

Looks fun. I wish I coudl downlaod it, but AOL is crap.

Anyway, I am a bit upset with:

-The less scary atmosphere (probably just this level)
-The true the Siren series terrible english voice acting
-The loss of captured facial visuals, and now we have faces with less expression.

I love:

-The less true to Siren but much better fluid animations
-The AWESOME finisher animations, and camera angles
-The astounding graphics. Looks pre-rendered.

Not very impressed with the graphics, you shouldn't be having framerate issue's when the board is pretty much dark. Another silent hill, alone in the dark type game. Not a big fan of those game's.

eh...I don't know what to think of the game. A cross between Manhunt but the same corny dialogue but possibly fun gameplay as RE4 with great graphics. The game is also scarier when you DON'T know where you're going lol...the guy flew through the demo and made the enemies look stupid, I wanted to see a game over hehe but nice gameplay video.

SIREN was on PS2 .. launched before MANHUNT and RE4

OK

PLUS this is just too REALISTIC to be even termed a GAME. RE4 and MANHUNT copied SIREN's gameplay not the other way round

However RE5 is a multiplat game and there is no way it would look as realistic as SIREN(PS3 exclusive)

lol i was waiting for something to happen to her. She was kinda in the way when you ran to the other door and I think the monster wouldn't have gotten in if you got in front of her and did the sixaxis thing...she actually made you look bad when the monster knocked you down and she killed it herself lol. I wanted you to hit her in the back of the head with the flashlight while she was struggling with the door though, that's cool that you can really do that haha

Looks great! Nice animations, nice atmosphere, yeah pretty nice.

The new Siren feels like it was made for a western audience, yet there has been no announcement of them bringing over here.

Siren 2 at least got a PAL release, so I'm crossing my fingers

The graphics are pretty impressive, but it's so dark that there's not much to see.

I'll have to play this again. I missed out on a few of the cinematic kills

I'm surprised there was no mind jacking or whatever it's called from the other games

The facial animations are amazing. They are on par, if not better, than Uncharted. Can't wait for the full version. I may have to import the Japanese version if they don't bring it to the West.

Looks really good, but as one gamer ( sonarus ) here was commenting about not being able to control the camera, that will be a big problem.

I remembred one Silent Hill title which had the same problem, it was so awful and very dizzying that I could'nt continue playing because it was making me nauseous.

I'll wait and see till this title comes-out and most probably try or rent it first to see how the camera movement pans out.

You CAN control the camera... but you can't rotate 360°. Only 180... but you can turn back the character and then you have the other 180°

I believe you can move the camera, but your limited to your characters field of view.

I actually like this idea, especially in a horror game, means you can walk one way while looking the other. He doesn't have eyes in the back of his head :)

Also, why wait for release to give it a try, create a Japanese account and download the demo now.

I like the Siren games and am looking forward to this one but, lets not wear rose tinted specs. It looks good but the facial graphics arn't as goo as mass effect and the textures look on a par with the next silent hill. Looks good and its on my list. But best graphics.. i think not.

Atmosphere create an excellent horror game, not visuals. These are more than good enough to give it a try.

This is also hardly the video to judge the over all graphics from.

ok so the atmosphere looks good but the graphics DO NOT

this IS a Demo however and the models are low poly with the textures looking baked in to me..the only exception being the faces wich look ok. not on uncharted's lvl tho.

I think the darkness of the atmosphere made them careless about better graphics sinceit dont seems like you can see too much anyway tho
