They are making HS2 according to the "rumour" in the Official Playstation Magazine, and it will be PS3 exclusive. This game is something else they are making.

I bet Ready@Dawn make Heavenly Sword 2, which to me would be the GREATEST. They will fix every single problem the 1st had, and retain the feel. I hope to here something soon. Maybe, it`s just wishful thinking, but it makes sense considering.

The only exclusives we're likely to see are the ones developed or published by the console vendor.

Yes the subject "HS Devs going multi-plat" is not new, but the Co-Founder of Ninja Theory did an interview, and helped give reasons why they are going multi-plat, and talks about HS sequel which they are not developing. If you read the story, you would see that this is a new article, and it goes far more in-depth.

Heavenly Sword will never go multi-plat since the IP is owned by Sony. Ninja Theory's next game will be multi-plat but it won't be from the HS series.

the article gives more information than that. But we have to use the original headline right, and that was the one on G4tv.com. I added two of the alt-sources that come from the original source so that you can click on them to get more info. It's actually a good read and lets you know what's going on at Ninja Theory. But the fact of the matter is that the article is new.

was alright. I think they should let you do more of the fighting, climbing and stuff like that but a lot of things are scripted, which I hated.

I do not wanna watch a movie, when I play my games. I wanna make sh^t happen. This game is still worth a rent though, but I'll buy when it's part of the greatest hits, as I like hack n slashers, regardless.

Well you don't have to think much in most of them games, well maybe except NG series.

No!! it didn't..do you really need un-compressed sound and images for a game to be flawless, Nope. COD 4 was GOTY and a multi-platform game made on both consoles and plays/looks really good.

Were all aware "Extra Space" is fine and dandy but I do not think it improves the quality of a game, to where games on DVD9 are not worthy, un-enjoyable or where them games, do not warrant GOTY honors. Hey I could give you plenty games/examples on the 360.

BD def did not lengthen HS in anyway either, and neither does it escape, the sometimes un-avoidable HDD install for certain game because of whatever reasons. It's still interesting to see how Multi-plat games are made for both consoles. (For Now)

Give you a break from what? I never stated that BD lengthened the game of HS, I never even brought up the point. It was a great game, for the 6-7 hours spent on it, did you even play it? Not playing it means you can't really have an opinion on its gameplay period.

You also know that HDD installs are to improve the overall performance and stability of the game during gameplay right? That's an option that's available to all PS3 games and to all PS3 owners, the same can't be said for the 360 (thanks to the Core and Arcade bundles).

Why compress a game, when you have the option not to? Why lose visual and audible quality when you don't need to? Why swap discs, when you don't need to? Why be limited to 9GB when you won't have to be limited to 9GB?

The same questions can be asked both ways my friend. As the owner of all 3 consoles, it's an obvious choice, more capacity is never a bad thing in the computer industry.

My point is, all that you have mentioned did not and has not taken anything away from games that are on DVD9 and gamers have enjoyed, as well as the awards that have been won. Plus COD4 look great on both platforms, not sure how the 360 lost Quality in the Visual department?

Example: Been playing Lost Odyssey and yeah I changed the first disc after 20 Hrs? did that take anything away from me enjoying the game, I'm not some lazy fat bastard that cannot change a disc, that takes 5 secs.

No I have not played HS, but I wrote from what I've been hearing. Plus I'll probably get this game. One of those games you play while you wait for a big blockbuster title. Plus I like those types of games. "all the sudden the 360 is suppose to give team ninja limitations" because you have BD on ps3 and and also can't get up to change a disc.

Yes more capacity does not Hurt devs. But its not that say all, end all to a Quality Game.

Heavenly Sword IP is owned by Sony. Whatever game it is they're making will be a new IP using everything they learned from HS.

Since I liked the first one except for its length and lack of replay value, I'll check out their next offering.

Ninja Theory were never a Sony dev, they were independant and Sony published their game.

Insomniac Games are also independant but have stuck exclusively to PlayStation hardware.

Bungie were owned by Microsoft and to break the contract because they don't like Microsoft's practises they offered first pick on new IPs.

Firstly movies sell more than games Period. Secondly how in the world did you come to the conlusion that the PS3 has a higher movie attach rate than games? I mean lets be sensable here the PS3 isn't the only blu-ray player on the market now is it? Or are you sayin because the PS3 also plays Blu-ray movies and movies outsell game so that automatically means all those movies are bought to be played on PS3's? If that the logic then the Xbox360 has a higher DVD attach rate than it does games right? The end result of that would mean both consoles are doing poorly because movies outsell their respective games monthly.
