European PS3 owners are up in arms once again

The list of grievances Europe is holding against SCEE seems to be growing by the week. A new thread on the official European PlayStation forums demonstrates the various areas in which SCEE is underachieving in comparison to SCEA. While everyone seems happy with the design of the new PSN Store, which went live recently, European PS3 owners seem annoyed at the weird categorisation system used on the EU version. There's no "demos" section, requiring you to search through each game in turn to see whether it has a demo available or not.

Everyone loves some melodrama.

Maybe they should stop being so ungrateful and just be thankful their ISP isn't so crap they can't even get wireless on the computer, and can't share an Ethernet cable, so they have no PSN.

ME.

P.S NEVER TOUCH AOL...

@Condoleeza Rice

You are exactly right. And not that I am ungreatful, but I can't talk, as I am moaning about AOL. It is genuine crap though, half the time my computer won't go on the internet, and i am paying for 8gb wireless but I am getting 3/4 and the wireless they supplied is infamous for not working.

Sony needs to stop categorizing Europeans with Africa and the middle east ( no offense) but they blame everything on that LIE we don't speak english, though Europe invented English...

Tis true that SCEE are a complete bunch of muppets but I would hardly say I was up in arms about the new store. I am puzzled why they chose to use such bizarre categories and why they frequently fail to release games on time, beyond all this though I am not really up in arms, just wanting of some explanation for their choices is all.

seriously if you had our store TRUST me you would be complaining as well its not the fact SCEE are incompetent its the FACT they just don't listen to what WE want unlike the SCEA.
OK want a example the game Pain you had it over 6 months ago yet we only just got the dame thing. i understand for most off Europe but the UK speak the same language why cant the UK be part of the SCEA ?

Main reason of government collision, as our rating systems are different, they need people from there own nation to rate the content before its given out, so thank your rating system for the long and stupid waiting periods.

Funny I can tell which country the b1tchsplappers are from. "I havent got a problem so what are you complaining for?"

A major Homer Duh! comes to those who havent got a valid opinion but offer one anyway.

It is a bit obvious why Sony are trying to please the American market. They have to convince people to buy one whereas us in Europe just buy one anyway. I have to admit though, in the space of 2 games purchased for the PS3, I have bought over 20 games for my 360.

@9.1

What are you on about ? how does it take 3-5 months just so that someone can check a game ?, it doesn't need to have patches, the language is the same and how hard is it so say this content hasnt got no blood even if it did have something wrong with it it wouldnt take 3-5 months to get rid of it would it ?

Things may be different where you are in America but in Europe its different, you should see our store, how we always get shafted and how Sony said that we dont mind delays.

Try and look at it as a company would.
What area of the world as more idiots to buy there products from?
Thats right, America.
So where are you going to throw your money around?
Thats right... USA.

The UK has a large population, but comparing it to the united states is like comparing an ant to a shoe.
This is why things come to the USA more often then not, before Europe.

Its also much harder to edit a game then you think, and language is a BIG one.

But as I've said before, your main issue is government ratings.
