Hey, message board readers and IGN PlayStation 3 fanatics: this article isn't for you. By now, IGN are sure you dedicated folks have already downloaded system software 2.30 and jumped into the streamlined world of the brand new PlayStation Store. You know how you feel about it. IGN get that.

This article is for the poor sap trapped in his cubicle who has no idea the new PlayStation Store is live and that it's awesome … most of the time.

Kotaku are idiots. Content is still been uploaded and the store will be finslized by 8pm EST today. They were messing with the store whiles it was been updated and then came back to make that post.

If you really want some decent impressions, you should check the japan store which further upp than the others.

The ign xbox editor said it was better than marketplace then retracted his comment once he saw the issues. lol. The store is definitely a HUGE improvement once they getit functioning right

It wasn't suppose to be up until the 17th anyway right? They probably released it early so everyone could download the firmware first so its not even more clogged on Thursday when all the new content hits.

i really like the new store.

it loads in a split second.
the circle button is now the "back" button
and the layout is way better.
even that little special effect when you click on something to open a new "window"

i have yet to encounter the missing images or loading times. *shrug*

a great improvement... for me at least. the lag was what sort of bothered me with the old store but now that issue is gone.

yea the store was cool for the first 10 seconds i saw it but then i asked myself
so whens the next firmware update
i believe the store didnt make a strong impact on me since i didnt really care about the old layout anyway

4 - its ok now, with everyone looking at it im sure the servers where overloaded a bit
but wait until this weeks update,

GTp released in america and MGO beta worldwide, 3 weeks of rockband/GH songs and any other demos and people still confused from the new look

I see a crash in the stores future

Yeah what's on the new add-on for Super Stardust? I think it's called "Solo" or something...I bought the Stardust add-on last night with, PixelJunk Monsters, and Bowling, but didn't get a chance to play any of them...I just played Everyday Shooter until I fell asleep. I just remember reading the description and it saying something about new levels and bigger explosions so...that was a sell for me hehe.

Time to start complaining about it! =]

Everything about it is perfect...except the loading of the tiles. I almost wish they were background-installed on the Hard Drive so that everything could be even faster. Actually, i noticed the store did get a bit faster between last night and earlier this morning, so maybe there's hope?
