I may actually pick this up cheap once the update arrives. My friend had it, and personally I enjoyed what I saw, just the motion controls forced upon you put me off.

This is a bad game, it goes further then just the controlls. Yes, the controlls are bad, yet there are other faults which is why it got the scores it did. I rented the game, finished it quicker then Heavenly Sword & had no incentive to play it again.

It really wasn't entirely the sixaxis controls fault. The game just isn't that good. I liked it enough to keep it, but it's not a game that I would go back to anytime soon.

I'm glad they're finally giving us the option to play it with analog controls, and the addition of two new dragons. I just don't think it's going to sway people's overall opinion of the game that much

Its not as bad as they say, the motion controls are fun after getting used to them. Took about 15 minutes or so, but its awesome.

I heard other improvements are coming as well like s targeting icon, which would help greatly.

I might pick this up again if I hear good things about it. I did like the story and the music was good, The game is not as terrible as people make it sound.

I dont get why is the controls so hard to learn, took me a few minutes to learn from tips at the beginning. The only part i hate about the game was one lvl where u had to avoid the lights, took me forever cause i wasnt patience enough.

Lair took a risk and sadly most didn't go for it. The controls were actually done well if you didn't just spaz with the controller. My wife who isn't a game at all could do all of them, repeatedly, after I told her how. I think she missed a u-turn once and got a dash instead. I'm excited about the addition of controls though because I like options for one and there are days when I certainly don't want to "glide" around my couch. Which is why I still have yet to finish my play through of LAIR.

I think it's still gonna suck, even with the update. The controls weren't all that great, but the actual game was just poorly structured and unpolished. The dragons had such great potential, but the animation for them was so amateurish and did nothing to signify their size or weight. I could really go on and on. Worst 8 bucks i ever spent on a rental.

Lair was NOT that diffacult to control. if you can walk and chew gum at the same time ya should have a problem. the ONLY move that gave me even a bit of trouble was the 180 degree turn move. whoever mentinoed that level with the spot-lights......i beat that level on my first try, im not bragging er anything i just really took to the controls after the first couple levels....it became fairly easy for me to get around with a little practice. ALOT of people compalained about the targeting.....i didnt really notice a big prob. with that either.....oh well, to each his own.
