Best Buy Confirms CoD4 Game of the Year for PS3

Best Buy seems to have confirmed what gamers have all been wondering. Will there be a Game of the Year edition of Call of Duty 4 on the PS3? Well, the answer is yes.

According to the electronics retailer, the PS3 version with the Variety Map Pack will be shipping on April 24th, exactly 21 days after the Xbox 360 maps hit the Xbox Live Marketplace.

This is great news, but seriously how are they gonna include DLC with the game for ps3? I can see it mworking on 360 like that, but can't figure it out on PS3.

It's going to work the same way as the 360 edition. There will be a download code in the case to download the maps from the PSN. For both versions, the maps aren't on the disc. The actual content on the disc is the exact same thing as the launch version of CoD4. Just the GoTY edition has a code inside for you to use online

For what ever reason, they decided to release it on the 360 21 days earlier... I personally think its a dumb move because...

1. It angers the PS3 fanbase, and believe it or not, that too can affect sales and rep.
2. Releasing ANYTHING, ANYTHING, next to GTA is a DUMB. You can release jesus next to GTA and it will be eclipsed by that juggernaut. And they will loose money because i wont be buying it. Ill be playing GTA.

And PS3's will be selling like hotcakes when GTA comes out.

1 this games been out since november.and
2, nobody cares which version of gta sells more exept ignorant fanboys like you.

all I care about is im gona get the expansion packs to the game and your not. this is GTA were talking about here, and ill gladly pay 30 dollars for an expansion pack to the biggest and awesomest game ever created
