Yesterday VideoGamer.com brought you the news that Sony has dated Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet for September with Resistance 2 coming in November. This follows Haze, which is coming in May, and Metal Gear Solid 4, which is coming in June. All of a sudden, the PS3 is starting to look like it's worth forking out the hard-earned cash for. With this in mind, VideoGamer.com thought they would bash their Sixaxis pads together and come up with their Top 10: Confirmed PS3 exclusives. Time for all you PS3 owners out there to start salivating, and for those of you umming and ahhing about whether to take the plunge to start saving.

Yeah the list is okay.... But you have to take into consideration that Nearly all of those where definitely know to be PS3 Exclusives.

As well that list pretty much spans from 2008 to 2010.

I'm looking forward to all of these games and will probably be buying every single one. I do think the list could have been expanded with some of the third-party games like White Knight Chronicles and Sega's Valkrye (forget the NA name) to just name a couple. This list is just the cream of the crop cause their are a lot of exclusives over the next year or two that look very interesting like 8 days or The Getaway.

First off CoD 4 is great and one of the best shooters available period. Second, you are assuming that Haze is actually going to come out someday. Third, I have not heard anyone say anything really positive about what they have seen from it so far.

Haze might be good, but so are the rest which are coming out like Resistance 2 and KZ2 (when it finally does come out).....so many shooters to choose from, such a terrible problem to have. :-(

prolly Haze will have a better single player campaign than COD4...

im sure MP will also rock...just dunno if you can say it's better than COD4 ..and it's not even out yet.....

but I already pre-ordered it...so i'll be enjoying it ne ways...

I think it's already a given that Haze will trump COD4 in SP mode/Length over 1,000 pages of dialog ...seems like a 10 hr game to me which is fine for an FPS..

Dora The Explorer...excuse me I didn't realize I was in the presents of someone that doesn't make mistakes. Obviously if I didn't see the "plural" than I didn't see the "they", but thanks for pointing that out I'm sure it makes you feel like a big man. Anyways the point I was originally making is that he was saying that Haze (a game that hasn't been released) is going to be better than Call of Duty 4 (which is played more than any other online game on both consoles); I was simply wondering how he figured that was the case. But in any case I'm sure your friends that have allegedly played it know more than me, so we will have to wait and see.

lol those aren't rumors that is just the conclusion dilusional fanboys came to because it said santa monica in front. However is santa monica working on anything besides GOW3? Only time will tell.
Anyways if that is the engine they plan to use, i can't say i am very pleased. Maybe i have to see how kratos is rendered in engine first

-White Knight Story
-Heavy Rain

to name a few

White Knight Story will be huge in Japan and worldwide.

I think Infamous is the best game that has gone quiet and people have forgot about, I can`t wait to see more. Suckerpunch is sensatitional. Infamous could be a huge "sleeper hit" as it nears closer to release.

Copy and paste or summarize the article i'm at work. Bubbles for the person! Anyhoo i'm pretty much working now to pay bills and drink lol. I added video games to my bill list and I take $120 out of each check for games....its really cutting into my going out. When 0 or 1 good game comes out I save the half to add to the rest so i can't wait for all these games. My girlfriend thinks i'm crazy for making video games a bill then I reminded her of her shopping expense ;p

I am going to have all of them in my collection when it is all said and done. WOW....that would be $600. Thats how much i paid for my consol at launch. ....I believe GoW3 should have been number 1 though, but it doesnt really matter.

I have to admit I have been hard on the PS3. I bought it and it cost me a $1000 bucks! Once you through in everything else needed to fully enjoy it.

Since I have had the system I haven't enjoyed it. I do have to say that Drakes Fortune is the most impressive game I have ever played though.

Other than the the games have stunk!

The 360 rocked the fall and winter last year. It looks like the PS3 might rock this fall and winter.

Gimmie some good games and Sony fix some of the problems with the PS3 (all we need are some good firmware updates and home) and Sony will be number one again!

Feel that the trickling of news surrounding FFXIII is because they're waiting to see how PS3 sales match ps2, putting the exclusivity in question.

I remember articles posted about a gaming executive in france saying the exclusivity was being talked about, need to find the darn link.

I find it highly unlikely it'll be seen outside of a Sony format, but that rumour was never quashed by anybody.

found it :P its an old article, but it was never quashed, and since then news of the game really started to become thin on the ground.

The thing you forget with Square-Enix and Kojima Production (FF XII and MGS4) is that they won't release the game until it's done. As for the exclusivity of FF XIII, no one may have officially shot down the rumor, no one has confirmed it either and there are always rumors about exclusives going to other platforms.

Edit: From what I remember, Square is usually tight lipped about everything until just before launch. They realize that they don't really have to work at hyping the game and they are very guarded with the story to prevent spoilers and to make it a surprise.

And I did say the rumour was very unlikely.

But undeniably despite Square Enix being known for long development times, its highly unusual to see such little news about a hyped title, normally the delay is compensated by trailer after trailer and news snippets, aside from a couple trailers and a few scans, its been sparse.

MGS4 on the other hand, has had a lot of related news leading to its announced release date.

Nothing but a passing observation.

FF13 is PS3 exclusive it has been confirmed many times....I remember there was a post a while back on N4G...the producer saying stating that FF13 is built for the PS3...and the engine was specifically made to take advantage of the PS3 tech...

im sure Sony isn't gonna let this one slip away either...
