GT5 Prologue update impossible to download

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is now available in some european countries in the Blu-ray version. And there's already an update that you need to install if you want to play online. The problem is the servers are probably overloaded and downloading this update is almost impossible.

Here in Portugal it's today for the Blu-ray and tomorrow for the downloadable version.

Changed it to "some european countries". I cant believe it's just Portugal.

The patch adds extra online features like Matchmaking. Also ABS has been fixed so if you set it to 0 it actually means 0 (zero). Before the update if it was on 0 ABS was still applied just in its minimalist for. Now you can lock your brakes till your hearts content!!!!

For the last time, the servers are NOT down. Just because it's not out in your particular country doesnt mean the world revolves around you. The update is live, it just fails 95% of the times. I have it now, almost 24h after my first try, and lots of people are reporting the same. The game is out at least in Portugal and Norway, just from the replies here.

When i inserted the game it asked to install in the hard drive, took like 10 minutes, then it asked an online update, many tries and always errors, just now after kind of 6 times error in the end of the download it finally worked, just now at this moment... Beatiful graphics.. lets test it..

Bought it in the shop today, update downloaded fine.

Bought a Ford Focus GT and did some drifting.

Great graphics and driving. When I messed around with driving aids and tires, you could really feel the difference..

GTA IV online isn't going to work for PS3 on day one. Mark my words. PSN can't handle the volume if they can't even serve up a freaking patch... Besides the game isn't even out yet and it needs a PATCH?! Weak
