Because the unreal engine for the Xbox 360 has been upgraded UT3 for Xbox 360 will benefit from the updates. That will be the excuse.

i dnt care about those minor graphical updates. They didn't up scores for dirt after it released on ps3 after 360 version even though improvements were made.
Besides mods are a major addition to the UT3 series.

those where ripped from the original games and therefor a illegal action as stated by the appropiate user agreements.

especially microsoft is VERY picky about the masterchief model beeing added to mods or other games, ive seen many ripped models for older mods that hae been shut down by ms.

Right enough, Microsoft are going to take legal action against Epic who are already annoyed at Microsoft and making what will probably be the biggest seller on 360 this year.

They could try to shut down websites that carry it, but that's the beauty of the internet, it's too late once it's on there.

ms/epic/crytek is going to email the author of the pack that he will receive legal actions if he continues ripping models, and the websites carrying the pack will be forced to remove the pack.

that happend MANY times allready.

because everyone is free to create what they want. Its user generated content. Remember, it doesn't have to be a PS fan to make user generated content. Those mods come from PC cooked for PS3.

Also, though, I think that within one of the major mod threads, a killzone mod/ char models has been requested..its only a matter of time.
I also saw an awesome Cloud model that is apparently slightly buggy at the moment.

I know its hard to grasp this concept 'cause you're used to getting raped by Live but with user created content the fans can actually make whatever the hell they want. The Master Chief model is one example because of the obvious irony.

Probably there is or will be mods for you to play with a chicken, so how this is related to 360?

I see what you are trying to prove, but you just fail.

Really, there is mods for tons of things, Halo or Gears are just some (little) of them. Maybe there is Metroid Prime mods, now PS3 owners are envy on Wii shooters? Gimme a break.

This model is great why do you have to compare it. The models in halo 3 do look better than this in my opinion. But i'm guessing you've never played around in the movie editor in halo 3 and truly appreciated how gorgeous it is.

see your mentality of "one game" is what's making you not realize, there's a bunch of ps3 games, and a bunch more coming out to make the purchase worthwhile.

UT3 may have not been a selling success story, but it sure has started with the best console mods ever in history.

imagine getting killed by the likes of Mario, a Helghast soldier, the character from Metroid, Barney, Cloud, Link, the Hulk, The Thing, Princess Peach or a Big Daddy!!!!

Man this is awsome only if they some how could allow you to use character mods and the Action Cam mod during the campaign!!!!!

If they were able to make sound bites for the characters (for the taunts and stuff), that would be the icing on the cake.

I can hear someone taunting with the Crysis character...."Maximum Armor"

or

"Maximum Strength"

And....the locust would growl or something...

And....master chief would say something like "Let's finish this fight"
