Wow, GT5 Prologue looks better and better each time I see it. Anybody who thinks GRID (the racing game from Codemasters) looks as good as this needs to have their eyes examined.

Graphics wise, GT5:P is a step above GRID and Burnout Paradise (two games which are at about the same level graphically imo).

Also the sound is amazing in this video.

I have yet read an article on GT's physics or gameplay. It's always screenshots or fancy trailers with workout music. Does anybody care how it plays? This is the prime reason why this game sells really well. Because it looks "Awesome" or "Damn that looks good" I never read a comment like "Damn this game plays well."

Before Forza 2 came out, their were more articles on its physics and gameplay than just screenshots and videos. GT does looke awesome, but Forza 2 plays awesome! :)

You can download the demo of GT5: Prologue from the Japanese Playstation Store. It plays beatifully, and my only complaint would be lack of car damage. Luckily, I'm usually pretty good at driving games, so I didn't notice that too much.

Also, keep in mind the Japanese store demo was pretty much incomplete. Still, gorgeus game nonetheless.

Forza: A game for gearheads.
Gran Turismo: A game for car enthusiasts.

Both are excellent games.

Yes Yes. I love how it's all "graphics graphics graphics" when it comes to multiplat games, but when PS3 exclusives pwn in graphics, it's suddenly about "gameplay."

If you must know, the physics and gameplay are both excellent and hugely improved.

GT physics and gameplay are always good this is a rule the game looks very good although the engine noise is good enough it's not right it's totally different from what it sould be and indicates this F1 car is quite easy to drive in this game and I think it's wrong

The bloke off Top Gear tried to drive a F1 car and it was near enugh impossible for him to drive it (He stalled it loads of times trying to get it going), you need years of experience to drive them properly.If it was that realistic in the game then it wouldn't be any fun.

For some cash (less than $1,000) they let anyone take 3 laps in one of these at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There are numerous testimonies about regular joes like you can I driving these around a track (although probably not as fast as this guy in the video, but mostly that is because of the fear of death)

The only thing is, when you do this for yourself, they start you off in 5th gear and give you a push start, and don't let you shift. Considering the game does the shifting for you (the clutch part at least) I think its reasonable that the game is realistic and you could get that good with practice.

want to know how beautifully it plays? download the demo. too hard? buy the game. still too hard? go flame somewhere else.

that is a beast. i wonder if you can race it against other cars? wouldnt be very fair. and the sound is top quality, even though its pretty bad in the vid, you can get the feel of it.
