Next European PSN update to be the most PAINful yet

PS3fanboy reports:

"It has been confirmed to us that the wait is finally over. Europeans can get their hands on PAIN, as well as a few add on packs (probably the character packs already released in the US) this coming Thursday. With last week being described as "the last bad update for a while", things should pick up from now on. Yeah. How many times have we heard that one?

The localisation issues that cause these ridiculous delays (it's been four months since PAIN was released in America) are due to be addressed at some point in the near future. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, something needs to be done, so we'll look forward to these discussions with cautious anticipation."

It's definitely worth the price.

You will probably forget you own it after about two or three weeks like I did, but it's still a good deal. The biggest problem with the game though is the lack of areas you have. There is only one, and if it wasn't for the multiplayer games, the game would have aged even quicker.

What you Europeans need is some High Velocity Bowling. Now that game is the HOTNESS (well as hot as video game bowling goes it is).

Sony needs to step their game up, this should have taken this long to freakin upload, oh and the game is real funny, i just wished they added more towns or areas to have fun with instead of adding more characters.

6 - I had PAIN
I got my mate in the US to purchase it for me but as a European I would really prefer HV bowling or Super Puzzle fighter 2 (remember that). Pain was kool for a second but I got bored.

There is a billboard in-game for a "Carnival" level that was coming soon but so far nothing on that. That's what kills the replayablity is the lack of areas, the first 1(and a half) got boring after you find some of the secrets.

Sorry, but PAIN is one of the lamest PSN downloads to date. You weren't missing out on much Europe.

In other news, PixelJunk Monsters, High Velocity Bowling and the very underrated Snakeball are all available. Also, be on the look out for Dark Mist, whenever that hits english stores on the PSN.

Can't wait for that game.
