I don't think Sony would announce or show new footage of three of their biggest games at Play.com Live (hell, I've never even heard of that show until recent articles mentioned it). Sony Gamers Day or E308 are the most likely candidates. Some people really need to dial back their expectations.

actually it's used to be more of a press event. we probably won't know its date until one or two weeks earlier.

but i also wouldn't expect much there, the gamer's days of the last two years have always been just little updates on games we already know about. the last gamer's day before christmas was "just" about things like r&c, uncharted, wipeout and so on.

we probably won't see a new killzone 2 trailer before e3. same with gow3 (which could take a lot longer).

I will say it again... when sony is silent its a good thing. When sony shows off tons of stuff you know its a long way off. They are quiet which means its going to be an exciting year

the leipzig show has moved to cologne, which is AWEEEEEESOME cause i can visit it now :D

hell, last year even KOJIMA was visiting!!!

of 16 PS3's all hooked up with GT5 playing makes me wish for the BIG Loto

Tell the truth about E3 for me

Im looking 4ward to the opening speaches. We know about most of the games already with the ppl here but we dont know what they will say or show that will give insight into the next year or two

its weird isnt it? its spot on though. Sony PR knows how to appeal to gamers. Put out a lot of hype, sprinkle with anticipation, control it a few screenshots, cut us off and make us second guess and then hit us with the final product.

Its all about controlling the hype and then letting the public destroy a lot of it and then releasing a product above the new found expectations. its a brilliant plan because it always keeps discussion up,yet lowers expectations at the same time.

I think, given the very high stakes this year in the console war, that everyone--Sony, MS, and Nintendo--will save their best for E3.

Seems like every month there is a show to attend: GDC, Tokyo Game Show, Leipzig, Sony Gamers Day, Play.com Live, E3.
