After telling me I'm no "real gamer" because I can't stand the Dualshock type controller for "SHOOTERS"...

Actually just like I hate Shooters with PS controllers, I hate fighters with 360's, like you do. If I can't enjoy the game or think a controller has "poor" spacing and placements for certain buttons, then I don't want to spend the money. Yes I'll try the DEMO of course.

On this Article, I'll try the BETA if I can get my hands on it, but will be getting this to connect my Dualshock. (It's all about the D-Pad)

you can't blame sony. There was a point where msoft and capcom got so close, there were rumors msoft was going to buy them. However i really don't care anymore. The only capcom game i am anticipating is way back in 2009. Was sort of anticipating this but it is something i can very well do without. If ps3 gets lame version i won't buy because i refuse to play fighters on 360 controller

Although I've bought 5 games off of the PSN, I'm glad this deal is on XBox Live Arcade. I prefer to keep my downloads on Xbox due to Achievement points.

I don't know if you know this, but it's Capcom developing the game not Sony. Doesn't matter anyhow the only series that Capcom has that's still worth a damn is the Resident Evil series albeit thats among the holy grail of gaming alongside mgs, and is coming to both systems so I could care less what the other teams do on their spare time if they're not a part of the RE development.

Microsoft clearly don't know what they are doing though. They aren't anywhere near as prepared as Sony is. Just a culmination of things during the past few weeks is just astounding me. They seriously do have long term plans. While Microsoft thinks short term to get ahead Sony is thinking way beyond.

And ultimately, I think Capcom may regret so eagerly supporting 360 due to it's easier development and at the moment (and only at the moment) more popular online service. Because it's only Sony it will have to answer to when it wants to make more games. And I can see that will happen mid 08' to early '09.

This is not a fanboy comment, this a comment on business tactics, and Microsoft has excelled at them, but unfortunately Sony isn't thinking tactics. The people at Sony are thinking Strategically, which does mean they get beaten on the tactics front, which is why we have all these media stories getting at the PS3, but the PlayStation 3 has only just reached a year old here in UK, and this year is set to be huge.

RROD means they know what they are doing? Saying 1080p and HDMI and large harddrives aren't necessary then releasing SKU's with those features included means they know what they are doing? Saying Home is useless and then copying it with the Microsoft Coolroom means they know what they are doing? @FirstknighT: Correct me if I'm wrong, but "HD" is technically a resolution of 720p and higher correct? So Street Fighter 2 HD remix is basically Street Fighter upscaled to HD resolution. Now take the Street Fighter Anniversary Edition, which comes with all versions of the Street Figther 2 series retouched slightly for the PS2, and then put it on the PS3 with the PS2 Upscale option turned on. What do you have? Street Fighter 2 in HD. So, who's clueless again?

if you have played a fighting game on the ps3 and have played a fighting game on the 360 you will know ps3 controller is superior in this genre. I have tried using the 360 d pad but its hopeless i have to resort to the stick and call me old fashioned and traditional but i left sticks for the arcade. I want to fight with my standard d pad like i have been doing for yrs. Essentially any improvements in gameplay will be based upon how the game feels on the 360 controller. Making it feel better on 360 controller could make it worse on ps3.

i have tried to play street fighter 3rd strike on the xbox, couldnt do it, went and bought a ps2/xbox controller converter. Of course the playstation controller is better with this, but i use both arcade sticks and ps controller on street fighter, both are great, but the xbox'x controller i can't use, it doesnt seem to be very good with street fighter in my opinion.
I meant though when i said, why would the ps3 version suck compared to the 3 60 version, if the 360 is being ironed out, and would also be on the ps3, the controls i think will be great on the ps3, the 360 i dont know, good luck

First selling out DMC4 with the excuse of them developing a multiplat strategy going forward. Then selling out Monster Hunters 3 to Nintendo. How is that a multiplat strategy BTW? Then they say PS3 fans will be excited in a week after the uproar that the announcement of MH3 going to Wii caused. Which turns out to be nothing more then a sh!tty port of Lost Planet which they will sell for $10 more then a remake on the 360 that includes extra content. Not sure what Sony did to them or what MS did for them. But its obvious something is going on.

Capcom certainly has alienated quite a few PS3 owners. I'm guessing overwhelming sales of MGS4 in contrast to sales of DMC4 will wake them up to their fvck ups. But TBH, the only Capcom games I'll ever buy are DMC and RE. And maybe SF. But that is it. Never understood the MH outrage. It was never big on the PS2 in the states and I have never been interested in the franchise.

I guess the real story here is they know Xbots will be fooled into buying Commando 3. I guess that game must suck since the only way to get into this beta is buy that game. Why do that? Does Capcom even know how to make good games anymore? DMC4 ended up rather mediocre. I played a while but lost interest. I think I'll pass on Capcom games now. They have limited resources so they can't be bothered with PS3 gamers? Well, I have limited resources too. I guess I can't be bothered with buying their crap.
