I'm still wondering how much they will cost.

I'd be totally willing to pay if they added some extra functionality on top of the maps - like single-player co-op, or an extra mission or two - but I won't pay for something that takes a 12 year old kid 8 hours to make for the PC version.

I'm willing to pay for content, but not silly content.

COD4 is a superb game, it is interesting to see a multi plat be the largest seller on the PS3. Especially since games like Uncharted are o the PS3. I would rank Uncharted really high. It is the best game I own on my PS3. I want to see Sony exclusives have higher numbers to insure more great hits keep coming.

but it is ruined by all the glitches in the PS3 version. (I haven't seen any on the 360 though I'm sure there are some) I have been posting on Infinity Ward's site trying to get some idea about when they plan to address the problems with unlocking weapons, create a class, rank and stats. I am at level 39 at the moment and all my weapons except the default classes are still locked. There are many many others out there with the same problem, alot of players more angrier at IW than I am!

On IW's site there are 37 pages of posters complaining about these problems. To date I have not seen any reply from IW regarding the problems. I am going to wait until after the patch is released, if they haven't sorted these problems by then I'm just going to flog this game on and avoid the COD franchise from now on. Very frustrating!

Lucky i quess?

But the pc version has many cheater & problably some glitches aswell.

The better part about console is that no one cheats,but on pc all you hear is cheaters in games there.

But glitches will always exist in all games despite which console or pc.
Some may be more then the other's but like i said,i've never seen someone glitch in the ps3 version.

ive got loads of problems with cod4 on ps3:
when i go on find game it says downloading game settings for about 2 minutes
I cant connect to my friends sometimes
and i cant hear some poeple in the game and im tryin to speak to them

Ive been hearing about other people who have different problems to me like prunchess up there and i really think iw should start sorting them all out before realising any new maps

I mean i know that COD4 being a great game with online mp will do well but u guys should be supporting your exclusives. Also i here alot of ps3 fans saying they don't want a 360 as it only has shooters then cod4 is your best selling game. talk about irony.

I guess some of you are to busy talking about the great games on this site that you forgot to buy them.

Oh and ain't it funny that 3 of the 4 best selling exc on the ps3 are RAC,resistance and unchartered. These all have shooting as there main game play mechanic. Hmmmmm...

yup no doubt that call of duty 4 is the game to play on ps3. It is just a bad ass game. yeah it may be a multi platform game, but its a damn good game.

Cod4 is First rite now.. but once socom comes out that wont be the case.. COD4 was fun for like a month.. I havent really touched it since army of 2 and The show came out.. COD4 was a good time spacer game now that there are other games out it will be played alot less and once socom comes out it will be traded in.. COD4 you had a good run.. That'LL do pig.. I just play COD for the 1st time on PC, I don't like playing with keyboard and mouse, will get this when price drops in future, not into online gaming. Good game, great graphics, story, audio, all around good game

With less Lag, better servers and more adult/mature players online COD4 on the PS3 is the ONLY choice.

Ops, NO, I take that back. Those 12 year old Xbox Live Rabid Droids can stay where they are, we don't want your filthy race on PSN.

The CrapBox 3FixMe has 3 good uses:

1 - Keep the rabids 12 year old out of PSN;
2 - Fry eggs;
3 - Warm up your house on winter;

Those Xbots don't know video games.
Just a bunch of noobs.
Jinn is dumb to say that shooters on the PS3 look bad considering we have several games that go past any shooter out there.
1.)Killzone 2 (Takes graphics to a whole new level w/ terrific game play.)
2.)MGS4 (No Questions It's MGS People!)
Haze (Another great exclusive coming out in a couple months.)
3.)Resistance 2 (60 players, 8 player co op, better story, etc.)
4.)Crysis (Which is now a PS3 Console Exclusive w/ 2X the extra content leaking to the 2nd.)
5.)Project Offset also coming to the PS3. (Read the March Issue of Playstation Magazine and you'll see it in the back.)

GTAIV will sell more on the PS3 because it gives PS2 Owners a reason to switch and IGN already stated the PS3 had the better version of this game and COD4.

It's just another reason to own a PS3 so all you haters can just suck it.

dont forget unreal with all those mods. why isnt that game on 360 yet? wasnt it supposed to be timed. I think lag might be the issue there. The only game really worth playing over and over is call of duty not jittery jaggy Halo 3. the best games are on xbox but even that can be sacrificed when ps3 plays Ghost recon, rainbow 6, oblivian and every other multi platform port. Good News!!! Since ive switched to playstation I just saved a bunch of money on my gaming and Im loving it. I got Blue tooth, Dual shock 3 from ebay. Im downloading movies from stage6.com and brightsidevideos.com for free. I even watch movies that are still in the theatres for free. Just downloaded a performance update and very soon I'll have a 3d version of xbox live and the virtual console called HOME. I got call of duty 4 and I got all the multi platform games and xbots are saying That Ill be missing the sequels to those old dvd games I dont think so. I think it is those xbots who missed out on uncharted,resistance and heavonly sword because those games showed potential and that their sequels could not be done on dvd. Lets not forget that more space for memory means more capabilities. True xbots are willing to pay another $2oo dollars for a bigger hardrive. Understand? I hope you didnt let halo 3 suck the memory out of it for useless instant replay. Xbots are a bunch of toys. its sad really they thought they won it. Its so early in the game and M$ is spending way to much on damage control and trying to secure exclusives. Whats true is the developers are finnaly making money off of the Big companies and stupid people who buy into M$ P.R. and xbox live. A sucker is born every minute.

there is no doubt in my mind the SP3 COD4 version is way better than the xbox360s. I have seen both. PS3 own accesses online very quickly and at most times has consistent online play, especially with the latest firmware update 2.17 it even plays much better than before.
