Now that is good news. I don't see how they could have charged for them anyway, online challenges wouldn't be able to use the new areas if some people didn't have them.

I expect podcast 23 to confirm that for us.

6 - THANK YOU!
Yes! The more I play this game and hear news like this it makes my $60 investment justifiable and enjoyable. Now if only other companies would take notice...ahem...MOTORSTORM!!!

What are the chances of updating the map? Something about it bothers me, maybe I just need to keep playing it.

Great news, thanks!

7 - Very very good...
... usually, DLC which you have to pay for, is a reason for me to BOYCOT the game. I just wont buy it (the game) when it reeks of DLC scam.

...but here, I will probably pick this game up, cause of their decision for FREE DLC, cause that means they care about the gamer, and not just about our money.

Free DLC is a good reason for me to buy a game I otherwise had my doubts about.

I can't access the link from my office, do they give a release date? And I also like the term IslandS instead of Island.

Yeah, plural sounds brilliant. They don't give a release date on the site though.

Incidentally, for those that missed it last time, there is a video of a new car starting to make it's way on to one of the new islands.
