Assassin's Creed's new investigation types detailed
7
The biggest flaw Assassin's Creed had was that even though the game world was magnificently realized, there wasn't much to do in it except the same things over and over again. And after being forced to it nine times, this mechanic had outstayed its welcome for far too long.

1 - Well, at least they were listening...
I can't expect that much to be changed from the original game without the rehauling too much of the game. This doesn't worry me for Assassin's 2

2 - yup...
this is the exact reason I have yet to finish the game...
got boring real fast. Beautiful game though, but really needs more variety when it comes to missions.

btw I love the concept of free running on it and climbing high towers :)
I always thought why can't they do this stuff for Spiderman the game!

got the game yesterday.Really good game but after a few hours it becomes damn to repetitive.Enter new city,go to assassins bureau, pick someones pocket or interrogate then go for the main kill over and over again.
This game would have been stellar if they varied the missions a lot more

they focused so much on the cities and surroundings and forgot about the gameplay.AS if the variety and content was the last thing they thought of.

6 - We all got the general idea... great visuals, but needs more variety in gameplay. So I thought of some things that would make assassins creed even better.
It needs a day and night cycle it needs a clock, this makes things a little bit more realistic in terms of gameplay, just think of ways you can use a time clock to your advantage, such as meeting someone at a bar or something, it also be cool to dress up in black at night so people couldnt see you as well or you could sneak into someones house to kill them, it be your decision though. It be cool to dress up differently. I notice people seem to be walking around mindlesly, its like no one had an objective in life, Shenmue and oblivion did a better job in that aspect, and if assassins creed could do something like that, the gameplay would feel alot better, people need jobs, and they need to be more interactive emotionally. They also all need a place to live in. They should also make missions much more exciting as well, I am sick of Deja vu in that game, the game should NOT have DEJA VU, its a bad mix, everything should be fresh and exciting, it needs to be like oblivion alot in a way, there should be many doors you could walk in and out of, it be nice to have shops, places to eat and sleep, and it be nice to earn money I would also like to give money to the poor in the game, I felt bad when poor people went up to me and asked for money, I wanted to help, but the gameplay wouldnt let me do so. they also need to fix some glitches it has, and I think it be nice if the fighting system had a a more in depth variety of combat gameplay and weapons, and one other thing, killing someone infront of a guard at a low profile doesent mean he didnt know it was you! I have killed a person infront of a guard at a low profile then, after I killed him I stood in a praying position and he didnt know it was me.... GAY! the low profile gameplay system needs to be a bit more realistic as well. oh gosh I could name alot more things the game needs, I also thought the world outside of the cities in assassins creed could be better, the outside world seems too much like a path, they should make it kind of like the way shadow of collossus made there empty world, it needed more freedom outside. the vegetation and climate had to change depending on where you were going, it only changed in the game when you reached damsascus or acre, but outside of acre, it was bland like all the rest of the outside map, if they put an oblivion twist into the outside world of assassins creed, such as animals, houses, waterfalls, swimming, heck who knows maybe fishing, I think it would make the game feel like wow, this is how it was meant to be. peoples interactivity and animations during gameplay had deja vu written all over them, when I had to pickpocket someone in this one mission, he did not continue to walk, instead he made the same gesture like all of the other dublicate pick pocketing missions, he looked around the place, and his expression was like... oh no where did my secret information go! then continued to walk, and it was like that throughout the whole game, it kind of makes the game feel a little fake, if everyone reacts the same way it becomes deja vu, I want people to have there emotion thats sets them apart from all of the rest of them. guards need to have a life just like civilians do, splinter cell chaos theory did that in a way, mercenaries would talk to each other, interact with objects but in a way more realistically I thought, I could go on and on about the problems with this game, but if they can fix this game up, that would be frickin awesome.
You know... what I said are great ideas, but its how you do them to make it more worth wild. This game has alot of good things, its just not letting itself be free enough. I wouldnt be typing a blog about this game if it didnt have potentual by the way. I care for this game, and I hope they will put the freedom in this game that it deserves.
