Disgaea 3 Announced For PS3 In USA

"NIS America announced today that Disgaea 3 for the PlayStation 3 will be coming to the US. The next title in the Disgaea series, Disgaea 3 will arrive sometime in August 2008, and "makes a bold new step towards the next generation console with a whole new cast, story and game system."

yeah the graphics have never been Disgaea's strong point

it's the worst looking game on PS3- but it's one of the best playing

hope it makes it's way to Europe soon

It does look like ps 1 or 2 game, but it's fun. That's the reason why ps3 fans, unlike the other fanbase, loves jrpg. Gameplay in a jprg comes first, grapic second.

why would you play Disgaea while you drunk?

it's a tactical RPG-type game

i tend to play games like Singstar and Guitar Hero while im drunk

whatever floats you boat though buddy- whether it be hot chicks or playing tactical RPG's under the influence of alcohol

Day ONE purchase! Disgeae 1 is easily the best Strategy RPG ive ever played besides MABEY FFT.

If your a Disgeae fan, you just need to watch the opening video to be extremely pumped!

This is the game I've been waiting for. I NEED some JRPG action going on. Enchanted Arms was obviously a shoddy port from Ubisoft. If you ever have the chance to compare the PS3 and 360 versions side by side, clearly the 360 version looks better with full antialiasing. The PS3 version? None. Ubi obviously didn't do any research on the PS3 cause with games like Uncharted and Burnout Paradise running in 4x anti aliasing where there's a hell of a lot more going on screen, you can see that Enchanted Arms should never have been released on PS3. Way to go Ubi for your product whoring! Anyways, Disgaea 3 will be the first JRPG/Strategy RPG I get for the system. Hopefully another RPG will follow soon after...

Prinny dOOd!! Lol... can't wait. Glad to see that NISA finally got around to announcing something. And you can bet they'll have it localized by August. They're great and timely when it comes to localizing their games... Can't wait. Too bad 08 is shaping up to be like 07 though, way too many games to be dropping $60 a pop on. ;)

But honestly, given disgaea's popularity here in the west, you KNEW it was coming out here.

I'm more excited about the other games they have coming to the ps3 and psp that their president kept talking about.

But that's not to say Disgaea 3 news isn't good. Hell it's wonderful news. It was just expected news.
