'MLB 08 The Show' PS3 Screenshots Galore

Spring training games officially start today in Major League Baseball, so what better way for Sony Computer Entertainment to celebrate than releasing sets of new screenshots for the Playstation 3 version of MLB 08 The Show.

The first small batch of seven screens depicts a confrontation between an umpire and a base runner, who is being held back by the first base coach. Sony titles the series "Umpire Personalities," but we see a lot more emotion coming from the agitated player. - Via The Man Room

Is it me, or does this game look FAR more realistic than MLB 2K8?

Those screens are seriously impressive.
