thats not fair. I want a limited edition too. I am quite satisfied with the color of my ps3 so i could really care less about the special edition with a new ps controller but what a way to sell ps3's. Nice work sony for working with konami to use mgs4 as a system seller. The real question is are you really planning on selling this for 500?. 450 at least

Every god damned thing.

Europe gets a lot of cool bundles and other things... and noone knows what is in store for this game in Europe. Can't you wait a little?

ps3 owners in the EU get everything later than everyone else, we get PSN updates a week after the Americans, games come out here a month later than in the U.S.A. Its nice haveing bundles an all but they are massively overpriced. We pay more than any other area especially in the UK. I bought my PS3 on release day without preordering it. It was the last one and i payed £500 (converts to $1000) for the 60GB console and two games and another controller. We also pay £50 for games ($100). I was in the US last yr and i noticticed on an advert that PS£ games were $60 each in Virgin Megastores (not during a sale) and that is the equivilant of £30 so we have the right to complain as get everything late and then we are charged more for it. No wonder the UK is the only place in Europe where the 360 has sold more than the PS3. (Not counting sales of any other console including handhelds)

Diugu, I'm from the UK and I'm not complaining (I may be complaining about you complaining that people from the EU complain too much but that's a different kind of complaining...)

I've made several posts recently within Metal Gear threads and yeah there are a few people from the EU complaining that they're being treated unfairly one of which is Lechance which makes me laugh because I don't even think he has a PS3. But even though I'm a MASSIVE MGS fan I'm not B!tching or Griping. Purely because it's still early days and I'm sure the EU will get a special edition of some sort.

You have to understand though that the EU has always been treated like the red headed step child. 99% of the time we get releases months down the line and often with less content so I wouldn't say a lot of the complaints are unjustified. I'm just used to how the EU is treated and have imported since back to the PC Engine days.

Where I live (Brasil) the PS3 hasnt even been launched yet (Only Xbox and Wii so far). If I want to purcase PS3 games here... I have to pay a hell of a lot more than 50 pounds and you can't even imagine how late they get here. So I try to get them at the US.

And you don't see me complaining all the time.

Also I would like to apologize for the generalization. I know not all in EU complain all the time, and I meant that at those who complain about every little thing they see. Example: Bundles, limited edition, different colours.

People need to understand that there is a marketing strategy made by a company that apply to each area.. and understand that the legislation in EU is different. For that and other factors (Geographical, Political, Logistic, Etc...) the delays happend. And for what I understand the Sony has its European division that handles these types of things in Europe so you have to wait and see their particular strategy.

Yes you do see a fair amount of people complaining but sadly that's human nature. People from the EU may complain more than others as far as games are concerned seeing as they are treated badly compared to a lot of other regions (It would appear not all =p) but generally... Every bastard complains =)
