Evolution wants MotorStorm to dominate

MotorStorm developer Evolution Studios has said that it wants to "dominate reaction racing for a long time".

Asked about the future of MotorStorm as part of a feature exploring the game's first year of downloadable add-ons, gameplay producer Jed Ashworth said the question "goes way beyond downloadable content".

Motorstorm 2 will definetly dominate. Especially since Sony forced everyone to play it by putting it in the 80 gb ps3. :)

vgchartz says 2,7M so it has to be very close to 3M anyway.
That was more than I thought for sure. Resistance is at 2,3M from vgchartz.

If they want to dominate, they better add more content. Motorstorm was fun for what it was worth, but it was a love/hate game unfortunately. The 2 modes, Play and Online, and the overall barren feel of the game, was what kept it 'good' and not 'great' IMO.

They need to make Motorstorm 2 less difficult and less infuriatingly frustrating. There were moments in Motorstorm where i felt suicidally angry (like when rubber banding AI slams into me 3 meters from the finish line pushing me off a cliff and dropping me to last).

8.1 - I am going to have to disagree with you there
I felt the AI was very challenging throughout the whole game and it was a good thing. The intensity of the AI kept the game very fun IMO.

The things they need to do to make Motorstorm 2 better is add more enviroments like forests, tropical islands, and a couple of snowlevels.

More people online. Somewhere around 24-28 in each race. Most of the time on online I felt like I was racing myself.

I would also like if there was real-time weather effects in the game. Rain makes the track more muddy. Snow makes the track more slippery. You know things like that.

14 - I think the game is great
To me it has a short lasting appeal due to its arcade feel.
The CGI videos showed the contrary, but its still the best offroad game I have ever played.

Now for Motorstorm 2, I would like if they lower the arcade feel to it and add more phisics, like a more bouncy and rocky road and more weight to the vehicles, more debris to crash on and for the ppl who don't like it this way then maybe add an arcade mode and simulation mode to it. That would be great I think...
