Kotaku reports: After being yanked from the PlayStation Store for unspecified technical "issues" earlier this week, the PlayStation 3 demo version of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition makes its way back online. Heh yeah, where's Monster Hunter 3?...

HARUMPH! That's right the Wii stolded it! =P I was pretty devestated to hear we were losing MH. I've only played it on PSP but absolutely adored it and was looking forward to a high definition Rathalos and playing over the PSN.

But Capcom are Capcom and you know the game is gonna sell like hotcakes in Japan on the Wii and I'll definitely be interested in seeing how it is. People taking massive swings of the Wii-mote trying to do G-sword combos. What about if they add a G-sword add on to the remote about the same size as in game, that'd be epic!

But yeah, this thread is about Lost Planet so I should get back on topic. I downloaded the Japanese version and couldn't join a game. Downloaded the US version and it got taken down. I'll try it out but I don't think I'll be massively enthralled.

Umm if this game came out within the first 4-5 months of PS3 life span, PS3 fans would be clamouring for it as well. Considering pretty much then, it was all about resistance, and maybe Motorstorm just came out.

I would buyit if it cost 10.00 and it came with 20.00 inside, get 10.00 extra for my troubles. Is anyone even bothering to download this game again? When I saw it posted again all it did was remind me to delete the one I had from my hard drive.

The game when it first came out. It was alright, but after getting past the first two levels, the game lacked something. The levels were two short, and other levels lacked interaction. that snow worm level did it for me. I think that stage was the most bland stages in this history of HD gaming. I think this game would have been welcomed better if it dropped the same time as the xbox counter part

I couldn't play online, would not let me join any of the two hosted servers. The online interface sucks it's just like Tekken online.

But I will proably still pick up the game when it's released.

9 - This game was okay
But the game that Capcom really should have brought over to the PS3 was Dead Rising. It was definitely the better of their recent games (not including Devil May Cry 4 of course), and I'm sure that PS3 owners would have enjoyed playing it before the inevitable sequel is released.

Dead Rising would have been welcomed since it was a great game on the 360, but this instead? Maybe theyre trying to make up for money they couldnt make on the 360 since it sucked there too and they thought they could sell it better..*rolls eyes*, well good luck cause from what Ive seen not many PS3 owners are interested in buying this.

10 - Personally...
I really disliked this game for several reasons. First, much of the gameplay was totally frustrating. Whenever a boss knocks you down, you get stuck in animation and can't get up because the boss keeps knocking you down. Then you die. There was way too much emphasis on mechs. I started to think I was in a Mech Warrior game. The ending was really unsatisfying and the whole plot was rediculous and indecipherable. The cut scenes were so poorly done with horrible voice acting. I can go on and on. I did like most of the creature designs and some of the graphics looked nice, but those are the only redeeming qualities this game has. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. During the time I took to complete the game, I shouted and cussed more than I ever have playing a game.

Capcom could have easly sold 1 mill in 1-2 weeks if they would have finished working or never stopped working on Monster hunter on PS3, but what do they do, they cancel the game, try to feed us this crap to make us feel better and forget what they did, and now look whats happening, not only does this game suck it still looks last gen the online is whack and the sales for this game will sell around 40k in Japan and even lower in the US. Good Game Capcom Good Game.
