The developers keep reassuring me that the gameplay will blow you away! They said that no one will have ever seen a game like this and should set a new bar for graphics and gameplay.

Nousemerc it says there is a blu ray cgi movie and the in game graphics should be the same...clarify do they mean cinematics and gameplay will be the same or there will be a movie released on blu ray based on the game.
edit: never mind went to the site looks like its a game and a movie. I am a little skeptical about the movie unless its packaged with the game video game movies are hardly ever any good. Plus the resources spent on making the movie could be spent on making a more cinematic game. I dont want to criticize am sure they know what they are doing but i jst think it would be better to go for a cinematic game vs a movie and a game

The Digi-Guys are looking to have the games graphics and animation on par with the CGI movie. They said that they are trying out new stuff and really going to push the PS3 to get the most out of it.

I have been looking forward to this game for many years but the skiny b1tch man-girl thing is way too flaming. If I wanted to play a girl I would go with Heavenly sword. At least with that game if you get turned on your still straight. This character design is definately geared towards the japanese audience. Weirdass boy loving freaks.

I fully agree with you. I know a lot of people actually prefer the new look after the last screenshot was posted but I'm really not a fan. I preferred the "Raiden" look over this.

I hope they change it, the game looks really nice so far but there's nothing worse than a main character that you hate. I know the Devs can't please everyone but I hope to god they change the main character design.

I'm with you on that, I don't see why Western fans can't accept a slender long haired male protagonist as open armed as Eastern fans. So much testosterone and homophobia is sickening.

He looked more like a younger Geralt to me and it was fine, I'm actually getting sick of bald space marines and crew cut gunslingers. A slender long haired male protagonist should be welcomed in my opinion.

But I guess that's not gonna happen in America or the UK, I believe Wardevil is a British made game, correct me if I'm wrong.

That helmet and friggin' spear are the stupidest things they could have given him. The guy looked AWESOME before they went and changed him. His head looks two sizes too small now for some reason. And WHY the spear? WHY??? Hopefully people will complain enough that Digi will change it back. I don't see how they could make such drastic changes while in development. Especially with a CGI film being made beside it. Btw, when they say CGI film, do they mean a separate movie based on WarDevil, or just the cinematics and cutscenes in the game done as CGI? If it is the latter, I like the idea that they are making the game that real. I mean, come on, unnoticeable transitions from CG cutscenes to gameplay? That's unreal!!! Unless you have a PS3 of course. YESS!
