PS3 Games For Cheap in Japan

Sony Japan is set to continue a PlayStation tradition with the PlayStation 3: an official budget lineup. A Japanese online retailer has posted listings for the first set of PS3 titles to fall under the new "PlayStation 3 the Best" lineup.

According to the retailer, PS3 owners in Japan will soon be able to pick up PlayStation 3 the Best versions of Resistance, FolksSoul, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Gundam: Target in Sight, and Ridge Racer 7 for 3,800 yen ($35 USD) each. All five will arrive on 3/19.

I think that Folksoul, Ridge Racers, Gundam, and Ninja Gaiden will sell a lot more now. I really don't know about Resistance.

4 - Waht about US?
I wonder how long before they're released in other countries (U.S. namely) $35 is not bad, it aint no $20 greatest hits but its better than selling a year old game for $60.

I hope they expand the list of games too, so far Ninja Gaidan is the only one im interested in since Resistance 2 might be out by the time this hits U.S. retailers.

Looks like Surfer Girl was correct with the post yesterday.

Those that didn't read the whole post. PS2 games sold for 2,800yen (if the dollar and yen were equal (100/1) that would be $28). In the US PS2 GH list was only $20. Look to see a $10 increase for PS3 games.

10 - That's a little over $35
So i'm guessing they might end up at $30 once it comes to the U.S. $20 for Folklore and Ninja Gaiden Sigma (the ones I don't own that I would like to) would just be too sweet.
