SurferGirl "rumors" about Resistance 2, WiiWare and successor to Fight Night

Surfer Girl:"1) Facebreaker is the successor to Fight Night (it did start as a Fight Night Round 4/Fight Night 08, but evolved into something more unique), but do not fear as it is does not disregard the strong gameplay of its predecessor. Unlike the terrible Prizefighter, all people who have made significant contributions to Facebreaker are actually getting paid and are credited.
2) Resistance 2 trailer next month (you are probably reading this in February, so later this month), as well seeing the game (which looks amazing) in action in non-trailer form.
3) Epicenter Studios is working on a WiiWare title for release later this year."

Most likely this would be the highlight of sony's GDC. I wonder what else they will be showcasing. Hopefully the uncover some of the dust under titles such as eight days maybe we'll hear more on kz2 and killzone as well

The fact that GDC is coming up and that this is going to be a huge title for the PS3, it is an obvious (IMO) rumor choice. Sometimes that dude says sh!t that is so obvious. Whatever happened to that website that was keeping track of surfergirls accuracy or how obvious the rumors are.

Hmmm, let's see...
There are a ton of huge games coming out on the PS3 this year, I think I'll pick RFoM2 and say that we'll be seeing a trailer for it this month! I'll go out on another limb and say that we'll probably be seeing trailers on almost (if not all) the bigger titles coming to PS3 this year. Now, was that a stretch? Don't think so.

Dude, there is no need to trust her. Everyone one for "her" so call prediction was in gameinformer magazine, gamepro magazine, or some other gameing magazine. "She" also get "her" inside information from developers blog, interview, and smaller gaming websites.

Well it was pretty obvious that there would be a trailer for Resistance 2 at GDC, I think it would be better if she stated rumours for not well known about games like Alan Wake or Even Eight Days, these 2 games have been under the radar lately.

Seriously, how is this any sort of announcement? EA made Fight Night, announces new boxing title; she deduces that it's the newest boxing game and likely taking the place of a Fight Night 4 this year? Wow! Then, she says there will be a credits screen IN THE GAME! Holy Crap!™

are you serious? I, along with many other people, have been saying this since the screen was release, that they WILL be a trailer this month at GDC. The article in the Gameinformer magazine gave hints that we will see a trailer this month. Why do everyone one believe "her". She is a big fake.

16.2 - I remember when she posted info on resistance 2 months ago.

She pretty much posted the whole plot line some of which has now been confirmed. (Starting in Iceland and playing across the US) She also said their would be different character classes. This was like 4 months ago. I believe that she knows more than me. I also believe that if she goes around and reads all the sources and then re-hashes the interesting info, that I'm going to appreciate it.

january R2 was revealed BY gameinformer. and teh interview was also for that month. the last first time we say R&C future was at GDC last year. time and time again insomniac shows it's new projects in grand unveiling at GDC with lectures and such... we all knew that they were gonna have a presence at GDC08 considering that a few of the members have a work shop on Using the SPUs... what else do you think is gonna pop up... Resistance 2... yeah why the hell not.

more educated guesses from "surfergirl:"

let's see, Resistance 2 has been announced for release in November of this year, right?

we've seen screenshots of a game that is looking rather far along, and beyond just the pre-alpha or alpha stage, correct?

what even is coming up in February, where developers get together and talk about their fancy new technology (which Resistance 2, no doubt is utilizing)? GDC.

it doesn't take a monkey to think that Insomniac will have some sort of panel and demonstration of Resistance 2 at GDC, replete with trailer.

seriously, i can make educated gaming guesses all day. somebody give me a site, stat!

Some of the programmers from Insomniac will be doing a tutorial session. They can just throw out their new game [R2] at them and tell them about it. As far as sony goes. they must be hanging out at a booth showing the game off. Haven't heard any word about them so far [and K2] O.o. Home I know about. they'll be showing off some tools for developers and such. So I can see them showing off the latest build.

Guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks. the PS.Blog should update us about it. [or any other sites]
