1.1 - Yeah
That psncontent.blogspot.com site is terrible.

Can we as a collective group vouche to never use such unofficial trash like that again? Everyone wants to be the first to post the Thursday update, but can you hold off until there is an actual post from Sony?

It's almost 9pm EST and that blog STILL hasn't been updated... C'mon guys - let's try a little harder next time :)

It's very dissapointing that the European store recieves another golden title that has not come to the states. Fade To Black is one of the many great games on the list of games that Dark Sniper has enjoyed, but no one has ever played. It is the continuation of the critically acclaimed Flashback series. Dark Sniper enjoyed what Delphine Software has done with Conrad Hart.

Does anyone know if it is possible to add funds to a universal credit card and then purchase content? If so, Dark Sniper will undoubtedly purchase this hidden gem Fade To Black at this moment.

Fade to Black was a high moment in my gaming back when. I enjoyed it very much. I wonder if I will do so today though. Maybe for that price and the nostalgia.

I tried the Conflict Demo and here's what I came away with:

- Highly inconsistent frame rate

- Screen tearing

- Bad AI

- Extremely sluggish movement and controls

- Laughable environmental destructibility (the frame rate dips severely when you start destroying the environment around you, and if you make something explode and THEN destroy the environment, a gas can and a box for example, the framerate drops to about 15 fps)

- Poor lighting engine with some of the most histerically laughable lighting effects since first Xbox 1 titles

- Bad voice acting

- Pistols that you can't fire as fast as you can pull the trigger (controlled fire rate)

- Boring as hell

5.1 - i didn't
notice a framerate drop, but ill tell you what i did notice

HORRIBLE looking character models bad graphix in general although certain things like (key items walls were good)

The AI is laughable not to mention the crappy acting/comments characters people make

The gameplay although simple is very rough around the edges not very smooth the only thing positive gameplay wise is that it switches characters well kind of because it has to spectate over to the partner instead of instaswap

Ditto on boring i felt like i was playing a ps1 game that still wasn't up to par

the only thing positive is that they were able to create a somewhat destructable environment but they made sure not to give you grenades to test just how destructable (my guess mostly everything but walls/cement could be broken up)

my personal advise would be to delete and never buy/rent game this makes me more appreciative of other fps games that they are not at least that bad
5/10

Its sad really the gamplay machanics/ideas arent that bad if they had a little more time (i think they are on time constraints given that they would even think of releasing a crappy demo) it would have been a descent game

Holy hell Fade to Black is on the EU store, that was one of the first PS1 games I got because it was the sequel to Flashback. I wonder if EA acquired the rights to that.

Fade to Black, huh? Heard many good things but never played it. But I'm in the US anyways so no matter. Actually I think it's kinda good for me that the update was pretty lacking, I can finally put some time into PJM. Was a sick joke releasing PJM and Days of Ruin the same week.

Dear god.. this Demo truly was horrible in nearly every aspect.
The only thing this demo also has is co-op over the PSN network but when I tried searching for a room there was no one to play the game with XD .. I doubt I will even touch this demo again..

I was under the impression that Pain was to be released in the EU by the end of January. Yet again we are let down in favour of the other more important customers in America & Japan :o(

Don't sweat it too much, Pain is about fun for 15-30 minutes after you get past the initial fun. Maybe by the time it is released there there will be a new city.

I found Pain to be relatively short-lived. It was only just about worth the cost. Fun wears off very quickly. I guess the game just isn't deep enough.

If it came with atlest another level(instead of making us pay for it later) it would've lasted longer.

Meh, Super Stardust is too much fun anyway.

11 - Conflict
Is by far the worst FPS I've ever played. OMG was this game terrible. Graphics belong on the PS2, and I'm being serious. This game is just horrid. I'd rate it a 3/10.

16 - wow guys thanks for the heads on on that game
i'll no tp pass on it. conflict denied ops, really sound like utter garbage. i'll just wait for the haze demo and R2 and KZ2. i'll have Cod4 and resistance to be my shooters for the year untill Haze, when ever it freaking releases and R2 and KZ2 fill the gap.

I hadn't heard of the two RockBand songs besides the one by Rush. Both are really good IMO, especially the Coheed and Cambria one. To top it off I got a Nyko GH3 controller today. :)

Conflict's only saving grace was the online co-op. More games should ahve objective based co-op modes. Minus the bad (even for PS2) graphics and AI this couldve been a contender. PS3 needs co-op multiplayer badly.
