at my local gamestop, assassin's creed was the most traded in game recently lol, IMO, assassin's creed is a game you should rent for a week or 2, beat it, and return it.
But this game deffinatly proves that PS3 owners do buy games, the games that i think will soon join the "million" list include burnout paradise, devil may cry 4, ratchet and clank future, guitar hero 3 and for some bizarre reason, need for speed prostreet (i hated this game, but the software numbers are very high, nearly a million)

I agree, I didn't quite like Assassin's Creed. More hype than anything. I truly believed that Ratchet & Clank deserved a better outcome.

it was soooo freaking repetitive and tedious on top of that it froze on me a couple times ON BOTH VERSIONS! This game was an epic fail I could have rated the game it would have been 7/10 better yet a 6/10 for the re tarted guy pushing me in2 the water constantly.

But to call it a flop fest is a bit too far... Sure it was repetitive but at least it was fun(At least i thought it was)

The only thing that bothered me about about it was the end...

It just sort of...... stops

Hint use your one of your assasin abilities ... You will get the credits and then you will be placed back in the room so you can replay the missions to get the 100% complete if you want.

my hopes were deffinatly let down, but these high sales numbers pretty much guatantee a sequel (i just wish ubisoft would give us more info on the nex-gen prince of persia)

I liked AC. It had its issues, but it was the first. I'm looking forward to seeing what else the franchise can offer . . . and maybe the lessons learned here will impact Prince of Persia.

It was worthy of selling millions, not exactly what I was thinking it would be yet still broke molds in the genre and gave itself a distinct style of gameplay. Sequals could improve on its faults.

9 - How well did Motorstorm sell?
I only picked up a PS3 a few weeks back and have only just started to play Motorstorm. I simply cannot believe the visuals for a 1st gen game on the PS3. It may be weak in some areas but playing this on an HD screen is insane!

What grabbed me first was the fact that there are so many detailed cars and textures on the screen yet there is no slow down. Makes me wonder why DIRT was so below par?!?

i mean, ps3 by the end of 2008 will have over 30 games which will pass 1 or 2 mln.
1-2 mln. is a good numbers, but atleast 3-5 are really GREAT.

13 - I am glad to see I am not the only one that feels this game has too much attention.
I enjoyed playing it all the same . The parts it get right are brilliant but Uncharted is the One . Since I am now in the Gamer Zone I mustn't say it is the BEST........So I won't ( I will just think it quietly to myself )

I liked the game... repetitive and all but I liked it. Think it was worth my money and had a lot of fun.

I just cant understand is why does he have to die when he falls on the water.. I mean.. he jumps around like a friggin ninja assassin(obvious) but he cant swim?! Come on... make the bastard swim if there is a sequel.

it really grinds my gears when worthy games get overlooked for mediocre games.

I mean when I first saw trailers for this game, it was almost a system seller for me, the trailers were simply amazing , "hype"
games are too expensive for this type of crap. they got the graphics right the animation right ( for the most part) and they got the general flow of the game right but , ahem BIG BUT ,the gameplay was so freaking repetitive , i only played for a couple days after I got it.Then only cut the game on when i wanted to do some fun building jumping and random killing , until I finally sold my copy of the Limited edition to some sucker on craigslist for $55 , i hope he reads this too cuz it would make me tingle inside knowing that he got suckerd for this game like I did

Great news for both PS3 and AC. Assassins was a great game that sadly some people didn't get and attacked. Definitly a fave of mine and also more proof that 3rd party game can do well enough on PS3 :)
