Possible Early Release of Ratchet & Clank PS3

Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction was pushed back by Insomniac for 1 week to release on the 30th October in the US. This was so they could thoroughly check the game and make it as perfect as they could before it went to print. We know that the game has gone gold now, and there are now signs that it may be releasing on the 23rd October.

I could aford 3 games a week but only buy games once in a while because i dont buy EVERYTHING i just rent to see if its good b4 i spend my $. in 2 weeks i will buy GH 3 and Battalion wars 2 (PS3 and Wii)

And two of them were cheap, straight from Ebay...

(Paid $8.00, shipping included for NFL07 as an example). I also rent most games. Sadly, since I rented Lair, because the review was bad, I now want this one as well. (Been checking Ebay ever since.)

I'm buying Eye of Judgment on day one. And an extra deck, and a few booster packs. Online is great, but I want to also be able to play one on one as well at home. COSTLY.

Strangely enough, I'm not 100% sure I'll buy Ratchet... As I said, too many good games coming. I could easily afford one a week, but have to draw the line somewhere :)

Luckily, I don't have the same taste as some of my friends, and we also share games. (Except for Motorstorm and Resistance, we all own our own bluray...). So if I'm lucky, one of them will buy Ratchet and I won't even have to rent it. (Demo didn't sold me...)

Still, I've own pretty much all the other consoles so far. I don't remember wanting so many games in such a short few months. Great time to be a gamer for sure! Bad time for anybody's wallet : )

I was totally sold by Jericho's demo. But I think I can hold on for a while. At least I hope.

There's just a little be more than 10 days until the end of the month, and there's $600 worth of games to buy. $1800 for November and December. That's $2400 for the PS3 alone. Now if you're like me, you likely own a decent PC and a few other consoles... So you're likely looking at about well over $5000 worth of games in the next two month and a half. I could afford it as well. Doesn't mean I would buy them all though. You also have to find the time to play them. That's another reason to draw the line somewhere : ) So many games, so little time :)

Go and see the sales of Warhawk, failed n00b. Motorstorm was a launch game for PS3 in Europe, that's why it sold decent enough.

Look at the sales of Lair, Heavenly Sword and Folklore (LOL), those games are a complete failure.

Those are all original IPs that are trying something new for a change. And even at that, I wouldn't call them flops, they sold very well. I bought Warhawk but I can't play anymore before having to head back to college for my senior year. I do plan on getting a bunch more PS3 games come winter break.

You know chevrolet sold a lot of cavaliers in 2003 but I'll still rather have a Porsche. Basically my point is if you market (hype) anything enough you will have a lot of sales. Halo is a perfect example. It's the same run-gun-reload-run-gun that you would expect had you played halo 1. The story sucked and the graphics were alright. But because of all the hype even Japan bought into it (for like 3 days). Then a game like heavenly Sword comes in with awesome graphics- facial animation-stortelling- combo/hit system and all you wanna do is talk smack based on sales? Your either a fool or 12yrs old!! I'm gonna play it as soon as I buy it.
Sony has a lot of experienced developers on it's hands for games like this it's no doubt who's the winner of the console war.
I mean the graphics alone are like a Pixar Movie and the game play is superb.
As a fan of the series I rate this game as a 10/10.
