I'm not 100% certain when it happened. I think it's when I had Nathan Drake atop a building in a war-torn Nepalese city, cornered and being fired upon by a helicopter, engaged in a fist fight with the screen slowly draining of color, snapping my enemy's neck and quickly rolling into cover to reload my grenade launcher only to turn and fire upon the chopper one last time as I watched it crash and explode.

I think this is when I realized that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was the best single-player game I have ever played.

True but I think everyone needs to play Uncharted 2 if it's apparently on the same level of greatness as HL2, FFVII and GTA III. It just so happens to be on the PS3. Same with Gears 1. Even Uncharted wouldn't be the same if it weren't for Gears 1.

As far as MW goes, it really just looks like the same old game w/ a new coat of paint - which don't get me wrong, isn't a bad thing, but from all the positive reviews I've read over U2, this game sounds like its setting a new benchmark. Instead they did a real review and was not afraid to call it one of the best games ever played, I am pretty sure this game is a 10 and anything less is just crazy...IMO

But anyways, I would have never imagined Sessler saying it's the best singler player games he's ever played. Usually a game is always "ONE of the best multiplayer", "ONE of the best co-op" or "ONE of the best single player", but when you hear what he said, you can't help but pray that Sony sends out the right commercials for it and in huge amounts, too. This series is too much of a work of art not to get any recognition this time around.

MGS4 was a true masterpiece, but when a professional can stick a rather new franchise in with a veteran and other critically acclaimed titles, it's really special.

Give Naughty Dog a nice, juicy bone. They gave us Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and Uncharted. Geniuses of our generation. Period.

Co-op is completely addictive. I've been playing it for about two weeks now. I mean some of the best cover takedowns you will ever see. Just wait until you go through co-op on crushing. Me and Kyle18 finally beat it after 12 tries.
Competitve has that Gear of War feeling at times, yet it also retains it's originality that's makes the single player so fun.

And that is that the controls are "spot on" and this is because of ONE button press: L3 to switch shoulders when you're aiming. I think IMHO it should be R3 like in infamous, because for me, that just feels a lot more comfortable and makes more sense, since the right stick handles camera control, so it seems right for that to be the button to switch shoulders. I was really hoping that the Naughty Gods would change that...

But hey; the game is gunna be friggin amazing and I will go play the demo in a sec... first I need to go eat something. xP

I saw the review and it wasnt morgan or adam, thats a major game for them to not be reviewing personally

so ya it got 5/5 on xplay but without morgan or adam personally reviewing it, who cares.

they probably handed off the review so they dont get email bombed by the halobot masses
