It sounds like an awesome bundle for a lot of us b/c we know just how awesome the Uncharted franchise is... but for most ppl looking to buy a PS3, they'll have absolutely no idea why they should be interested in this bundle besides the fact that it has a 250GB hard drive.... BUT they will be satisfied as hell if they take the chance to buy it anyway, lol.

Still... I think a MW2 bundle might have made more sense from a brand recognition point of view. Maybe even a Rachet & Clank bundle.... OR a bundle w/ the first Uncharted AND MGS4, in fact that might have been the best one. That way they get two of the PS3's GREATEST games and then they want to go out and buy Uncharted 2 after they play the first one.

Do you guys remember the first time you played a really good game on your Ps3 (MGS4 or Uncharted or Folklore, heavenly Sword)? I was like damn this Ps3 is great! I was totally blown away with the new experience. Now I've come to expect it.

but most of the appeal will be to PS3 owners that played the first game. Unfortunately these people already own a PS3. The positive reviews will certainly help for those that are on the fence that actually research or keep up on game news. Metal Gear was a perfect bundle since it's fanbase's last experience was on the PS2. Gran Turismo is another franchise that is a no brainer as far as bundles go.

ODST is not DLC. Its basically what Half-Life Episode 1 or 2 is, but even more full-fledged. If you dont like Halo thats fine, we dont miss you, but keep your half-baked insults accurate at the very least.

Why include UC1 w/ this and raise the price tag more? UC1 is a year one game from years ago you can get anywhere and it's story line is totally different from this one.

lol!. I can't believe i am explaining this. The story in U1 is a completely seperate story from U2. Completely different settings, different enemies etc etc. There is no link to the first game whatsoever except for the characters.

The story in U1 is a typical action adventure story that best recent action adventure stories like in INDY4 or Mummy 1,2 etc. It is not as deep or complex like say a game like MGS.

However, what most PS fans have been raving about is the characters, gameplay,story,graphics,animat ion,voice acting and script.

Characters are really well done in Uncharted. So much so the media and most fans weren't too happy when they thought Sully and Elena won't be in U2.

Uncharted is not like other games like ME, Infamous,MGS,Halo,Gears,GOW etc that uses the same universe and stories are based on previous game stories. Uncharted is not like that at all.

Halo 3, GTA IV, RE5, MW2 250gig, MGS4 bundles. Oh yeah sequels which will sell lot's of units doesn't make sense at all they're just crazy.

It'll move units that's the only factor that actually matters. Why give MW1 or uncharted 1 with the console? That's a terrible idea, just make them pay for it, it's to drive sales and make profit. If the customer wants completion they'll buy it and it's profit for them. Don't forget the extra $100 is for the game and another 130 Gb, so there is almost no incentive for Sony/MS to add anymore than that.

Personally I would have bundled it with the 120GB to keep cost down, because i have a feeling with it being bundled with 250GB thats a new 399 PS3 sku on the market, i rather just sony focus on one sku at 299, so that its easier to price drop earlier on when need at the end of 2010 or so, also it would kind of make the 250GB xbox360 stand out more in a bad way seeing something that cost 399 vs 299 bundle.

Only morons would look at what MS is offering as a bad price. You're getting the console, a 250GB HDD, which would cost about $200, and extra controller which would cost $60, and the game which would cost $60. For $400 you're saving about $110. That's a great deal.

Mind you, I'm not saying it's a better deal than what Sony is offering, but it IS a good price for the content of the box.

Ok I went and pre-ordered uncharted 2 to see what the fuss is all about so I could try the beta...

First off the controls suck, the animation is horrible besides the jumping which is cool as hell...

The gameplay is horrendous and the graphics are mediocre, def. not game of the year material...

But this is just multiplayer im pretty sure the single player will be good and the graphics will be upped, but goin by the beta no way does this game receive game of the year...

It will either be Left for Dead 2, ODST, or Modern Warfare 2...
