Released in 1984, Ghostbusters was an instant hit garnering critical and public praise for its fun blend of comedy, horror & fantastic special effects. After a sequel was released in 1989, the Ghostbusters franchise was put to rest, with the exception of two cartoon series, which hit TV airwaves in the mid to late 90's.
