NHL 10 Overview - TripleChat

TripleChat writes, "Thankfully for video game sports fans everywhere, the NHL brand has competition every year when it comes to gaming. Unlike the NFL, NCAA, FIFA, etc…the NHL has refused to be bought out. This isn't anything but great news for us – because every year both EA and 2K duke it out to put out the best hockey title. EA has been reigning supreme since 2007, but 2K could always come back and surprise us again."

TripleChat has posted their hands on impressions of the game, and their outcome has been quite positive. One main complaint of last year's title was the defensive controls, and from what they played of the game the issue seems to be gone. The new goaltender animations are impressive and should help decrease the opportunity for glitch goals. The new fighting system is both welcome and entertaining. The gaming community could be in for yet another award winning hit.
