EA Needs To Get Game

This should be a Golden Age for videogames.

Over the past two years, Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony have put their latest gaming consoles into tens of millions of homes.

Games such as Electronic Arts' "Madden" football franchise and Activision Blizzard's "Call Of Duty" series boast ever more immersive graphics and crisper, more satisfying action. They're also getting more prominent placement at mainstream retailers such as Wal-Mart and Best Buy.

Yet shares of Electronic Arts are down more than 60% over the past year, with the videogame giant expected to report a money-losing quarter Tuesday.
