EpicBattleAxe: The Lord of the Rings: Conquest Review

EpicBattleAxe writes: "Lord of the Rings: Conquest is an action hack n' slash set in the Peter Jackson version of the Tolkien universe, meaning Conquest relies heavily on film footage and music from the Jackson trilogy to string together a somewhat disjointed narrative spanning 2 singleplayer campaigns. The first, called War of the Ring, let's you play as the good guys. The second, the Rise of Sauron, which is unlocked only after completing War of the Ring, takes great creative license allowing you to play on the side of Mordor, and do everything from kill Frodo and destroy the White Tree of Gondor to commandeer a Balrog and burn down the Shire."
