A new trailer about Cinematic Production and the possibilities of Blu-ray has surfaced on the official European Sony site. More interestingly though is that its referent is Heavenly Sword.
The trailer features all new footage of the game, in addition to interviews with its developers at Ninja Theory and Andy Serkis on making a cinematic gaming experience.
Sony: "What is it about storage space? No matter how much you have, you always seem to use it. And the problem is, the more stuff you store, the harder it is to find what you want. In this film we explore storage from a hoarder's perspective and ask the question: if you could have more storage space, what would you do with it?"
The PlayStation 3 may not have been the strongest generation for Sony, but there were still some diamonds in the rough that deserve a revisit as PS5 remasters.
Even if they could just remaster and put on PSVR2, some would still look great as VR titles and could do a whole lot to bolster the headset w these exclusives! I'd imagine the investment of reworking these titles into VR would be way less than building new games from the ground up, and they could be amazing experiences, and VR often makes flat games feel fresh again. The Resistance and Killzone games are particularly what I want to see!!
The time is perfect for a resistance fall of man game campaign coop multiplayer
Resistance was ok but Warhawk and Starhawk was better and kept me coming back for almost a decade of fun and petty revenge on the loud mouth unskilled players 🤣
Edit I loved capture the flag dropping the pot on the flag carrier was extremely satisfying as well as transforming your plane in bot form and stumping them to death 😱

Grab your katana, and slice your way through this list featuring the best hack and slash games the PlayStation 3 had to offer.
Dante's inferno... an excellent GoW inspired game. So sad the sequels will never be.
heavenly sword was such a short, but amazing game. that game should be prime material to be made into a download only remaster.
I really enjoyed Castlevania, but struggled to get into it again reattempting it a few years back. I still think it does another of things well; story, presentation, level varietily and art style at least. Gameplay maybe has not stood test of time unfortunately which makes it a chore to get through.
The faces are awesome, just hope the game is more than a hack and slash with button sequences. But surely anyone can see that this is a going to be AAA. Hope it doesn't get delayed again though.
I would also like to add that this footage is so much better than the Heroes clip. Did anyone notice that the Heroes clip is taken from the video?
There is now a direct link people. It goes straight to the video.
FeralPhoenix - Yes I saw and replyed again forwarding you to this trailer. Release date? Well that's murky. On IGN it says June. In an interview they said "before Christmas"...expect for them to announce that it is delayed to SEPTEMBER at GDC.
I do have to say that even though it is frustrating....the SOny marketting are a clever bunch of mother f*ckers. First a small snippet on Heroes and everybody's like "I wanna see more!" and then two measly camera phone shots...and then this. They knew what they were doing from the start. I feel bad for doubting them. :o
ps. SOrry for the mouthful of a title "New Official Sony Heavenly Sword Trailer" is a bit retarded...but I wanted to seperate it from the other video post. I think "New Official Heavenly Sword Trailer" would have sufficed. Ah too late now.
pps. Although you can download the trailer in HD. Ninja Theory have posted this link for a high quality download. http://www.ps3.eu/flash/med...

That trailer looks awesome....looks like they are doing a good job giving this game the "cinematic feel".....this is starting to look like one of the PS3 games I might have to keep my eye on....hey when is it going to be released?....oh BTW, deepbrown I did reply[edit] my comments about your post on the other thread....either way this does show what I was looking for from those pics.
