Killzone 2 hits eBay

Can't wait the extra month to play Killzone 2? Well, some seedy journalist is banking on that and has put his review copy of Killzone 2 up on eBay. The auction contains the entire press kit, which includes an information booklet about the title, a behind the scenes/making of disc, and a copy of the review code(printed in December).

Make sure you have your wallet handy though, with almost a week left on the auction, the price is already at £82.0, or roughly $120.

I think killzone will be a big disappointment for me, i was disappointed by gta 4. mgs4 (only played for about 2hrs total), far cry 2, resistance 2(competitive online sucked), cod waw. The only games which I have thoroughly enjoyed honestly this gen were cod 4 and halo 3, everything else was a meh.
p.s im not a fanboy, i own both systems.

That's understandable. We all have different taste. I personally wasn't planning to get KZ2 around launch but after looking at the titles around KZ2, I caved.

I have a friend who hates CoD 4 and any shooter with realistic guns but loves shooting games with fake guns. I find this odd but it's his taste. Well, I hope you find more games that live up to your hopes.

I agree, L4D's zombies are NOTHING compared to the NBA center sized zombies you have to deal with in R2. Nothing beats that game for sheer volume of enemies thrown at you. It gets so bad that I have seen entire co-op teams overrun and wiped out by multiple hordes. THAT's what you call a game.

I knew that this was going to happen sooner or later... But since that is the Review Build copy, I think I'll just hold out. The Review build probably isn't that much significantly different than the Final Version, but I just want to get the Final Version first.

If there's any of these KZ2 Press Kits on Ebay after I get KZ2, then I might buy one (depending on how high bidding goes) just to have it as a Collectible.

That Killzone 2 press kit would have made for a very nice Collectors Edition... I wanted some Behind the Scenes stuff and whatnot, but hopefully all of those extras are already on the Disc and are unlockables after you beat the game or something.

Currently 120 wouldn't be that big of a deal considering. I think there was a Gears 2 version that sold for more. Fallout 3 had a version that sold for more also I think. Basically, unless you are a reviewer you're not ever going to get this and in that case this is what is the definition of Limited.

I really enjoyed MGS4. Resistance had good graphics but alas, the online leaves a lot to be desired. As for the legality of selling the review copy: If GG was concerned they could get an injunction and stop the sale. HOWEVER, they could also sit back and see what in fact the final bid will be. This will give them a pretty solid idea of what this game means to people. They could make this a pretty decent marketing ploy. God knows Sony could use good marketing tactics! And I say that with love.
