Incognito presentation went well with Sony

Warhawk developer has a successful meeting with Sony Computer Entertainment.

Dylan Jobe of Incognito Entertainment, the folks who brought us Twisted Metal and most recently the online-only Warhawk, has been teasing his Twitter feed with talk of a new meeting with Sony.

A Single Player Story Mode would be nice. I want to take down some of those mother ships in the early vids....also the battles in those vids just looked epic. Would be a nice addition to an already great game.

online game... I know it may not be stellar like COD or Resistance but it's just a lot of fun. Warhawk was home to many great battles and the pace is like no other game I have ever played. I am really looking forward to what they can put out next.

True, but Warhawk on ps3 isn't a sequel to that one, more like a rebirth of the franchise, so a sequel to PS3 Warhawk would be given the number 2 (or a subtitle, like Warhawk: ODST :P).

Warhawk PS3 isn't really a sort of title that you could sequel, especially since its online-only. What would you change for the second, and it wouldn't work suddenly bringing in a storymode if there was none originally.

Yep Warhawk must be 3rd person. I dare say it would be 3rd person for the vehicles anyway (even most FPSs have 3rd person driving).

I'd like to see more action/adventure games with exploring, or maybe an Open World Action/Adventure game that's just as big as Fallout 3's map. The shooters or nice, but I'd like to see more non-shooters.

From what i remember Sev from PSlifestyle wrote about next Incognito game(co working with two other sony studios) was to be Hardware 2, amazing looking (better than KZ2 as he wrote back than) veichle combat game, that was only multiplayer (i guess mag but only with veichles), he even promised some pics, but had to delete that BIG and long article because Sony asked that from him (NDA).
This has to be something else.

anywho,im not personally familiar with any other incognito projects other then Warhawk witch is one of the BEST multiplayer games out their this gen along with probably the best if not second best (LBP MGS4 pack might be 1st) DLC as well.

from playing warawk for a while though,i think it was a smart choice to eliminate single player story from it.. i apsolutely LOVE sony's approch to multiplayer only games such as warhawk and socom so far.

and im also glad sony is listening to devs and helping them out cuz in return that helps US a gamers and makes us ps3 owners,fans,fanboys,hordcore gamers proud to be aprt of the ps3 community and gives more reason to support them. :):)

Warhawk is the best and most balanced online competitive game I've ever played. Never before has being on foot, in a vehicle, or in an aircraft been so evenly matched with just as good of an opportunity for besting your opponent regardless of what mode of transportation you're using and what weapon you have. Any combination is useful. Cannot wait to see what these awesome devs come up with next.

I hope for a Warhawk 2...this is my most played game on the PS3, I have other big titles like R2,LBP,MGS4 etc but I still end up playing Warhawk more, its just so much fun and I just checked my profile and have over 700 hours of play xD
In Warhawk 2 I'd like to see more than 2 teams in a game, if theres huge maps like Omega Factory than Im sure we could have 3 or even 4 teams in their, 3 or 4 teams battling each other for their flags would be awesome, if Jetpacks, ACP & dropeships are included it would be awesome to have atleast 2 of those or all 3 in a game......all this if Warhawk 2 is the new project

I would love to see a new Colony Wars game. Incognito did a good job on Warhawk and they could use what they learned on that game for Colony Wars. If it is not that a new Warhawk game would be cool. This time I would like a story mode though.
